WRONGFULLY BANNED by PUBG - Here's my Case!

Hey everyone! As we all know PUBG is a cesspool for hackers. We all know they ruin the game. PubG has done a fantastic job purging most of these players and are very active and dedicated to do so.

With that said, sometimes mistakes can happen. That is what happened to me.

Here's the story:
On the night of April 18th I encountered the strangest game imaginable. For three hours that night the servers were too busy to log on. When they eventually came back around 9 or 10 PM I lobbied up in Solo. I got distracted waiting for the game to start and it begins when I'm AFK. I fail to jump and I am automatically ejected from the plane. As I'm falling I see an ARMY of players surrounding me. They all parachute down in a mob and land on the hillside. Naturally, I load up and head over there to investiage. When I get there noone is moving, there is a mosh pit of AFK players. So I do what anyone would do. I lay waste to them. After the carnage is done I am left with 53 kills! That means half this lobby was AFK. Whatever circumstances caused that possibility are beyond me, but I stumped on the wrong place at the wrong time.

Understanding the Misunderstanding:
So I get it, what a weird situation. Anyone getting 53 kills in a game is going to go code red on the radar. It definetley would raise an eyebrow. The data does and does not rest in my favor. Getting 53 kills in 5 minutes is an automatic assumption. They probably even figured I was a foolish hacker for making it so obvious. The data does go in my favor as when you look at the fine details it proves my innocence. Here is the proof.

The Video shows that all 53 kills had 0KM registered in the match. Proving they were AFK. It also proved that these people were just lobbying AFK, and it showed they had 3-4 matches after that they were AFK in aswell. Another thing that further stats show are the distance killed. All the kills I had that game were around 5-15M, meaning I was right next to them and all kills were at close range. After the first 5 minutes of the match and all 53 AFK people were dead, I did not end up getting a kill for the rest of the match. So that would also disprove my motive if I were hacking, why would someone use hacks, rack up 50 kills and then not end up winning the match or killing other players they encounter later in the game?

Contacting Customer Support:
WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING AN APPEAL SYSTEM IF THEY DONT REVIEW THE CASE? Here's what they told me:

"Hello DaneDimension,
Thank you for writing to PUBG Support.
It looks like you are writing about an account that has been restricted.
We understand that this may be a very frustrating experience. However, please understand that a restriction is placed because we have determined that the release note that even without having any programs specifically for “hacking/cheating” there are other programs that can violate our Rules of Conduct and cause a permanent restriction.
- Software that bypasses the services in the game
- Programs that alter the game in any way (even if it is not for cheating)
- Cheats, macros, etc. for other games and not for PUBG is still a violation of the game’s services
Having purchases, low KPD, short gameplay time, etc. does not exclude any accounts from restrictions.
We can assure you that the account was blocked because there was a violation discovered on the account.
We apologize but we cannot provide any specifics on the details of the violation.
However, we also constantly check our systems for false bans and if found, we correct any issues internally.
We ask for your understanding of this situation.
We will continue our work to make sure that no erroneous restrictions are made and continue creating a fair gaming environment for all BATTLEGROUNDS players."

I don't know what to make from that response. There was nothing specific about my case, or anything I sent them. On one hand, they are saying that they fix false bans internally. On the other, they already banned me wrongfully so why would they reverse and fix it?

The thing that was most angering to me was them "assuring me" I was doing one of the following. The programs, software, cheats, macros whatever. I wasn't using any of them or hacks.

SECOND RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER SUPPORT:

Thank you for writing to PUBG Support.
It looks like you are writing back about the restriction on your account.
Unfortunately, as mentioned previously, there was an infraction detected in-game and the account has been restricted.
Violation of the terms and services does not just include cheating/hacking programs but also any programs that alter, bypass or modify the game or its services in any way (even if it is used for non-cheating reasons)
We understand that this is an unfortunate situation and we apologize for the frustration, but there is nothing more we can do to assist with this restriction.
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS

So this tmie around they still claim I am using some modifying software to play the game. Which I can assure you, I was not. They still have no investigation, or idea what caused this ban.




Last time I checked everyone, killing AFK people wasn't against the rules. Just because the game had an error and half the lobby spawned were inactive players does not make me guilty of cheating/hacking and rightfully banned.

Let me know your thoughts everyone, and thanks for taking the time to read. I don't know how to express this frusturation. If you have any knowledge of what's going on let me know.

No, not at all. No third party, all vanilla base game. It was just a normal game, with unusual circumstances. It makes sense while I was flagged. What happened was really odd and strange, so I get it. You just have to look at the details of the proof to know what really happened.

if you're also confused about as to why they wont tell you why they banned you, its to make it harder for cheat writers to know what they did wrong, and make it harder to find the problem in their code.

This story isn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but you can choose to believe it or not. I got double the AFK kills than your friend. I'm sure killing half a lobby raises an eyebrow and is automatically investigated.

Ahhh, that makes sense. I mean with deductive reasoning I understand why they would ban me. I don't need to know the details. I just want to know they looked at the video, the game log and the replay itself! The replay is on my account, the whole event.

I just want to know they care about the case and resolving it. Which their initial customer service bot did not indicate... :(

Don't think that's accurate. Don't you think there is a possibility that there could have been a mistake? With almost 1 in 4 players on PUGB hacking and over a mlillion bans on record, you don't think there could be one slip up? With something as large as 53 kills in a 5 minute period? Do you really think with all the reports they get that they deeply investigate something like this? Because on record / data. My situation looks very sketchy. They would really have to dig to find the truth, which I don't believe they took the time to do.

And also that game ban was on Call of Duty due to joining a modded lobby without even knowing it was modded, so yea.

Thank you for the advice. I hope to get in contact with somebody. Who / What is BE?

What sucks about my situation is that they would have to go out of there way to look into it and fix it. Meaning that chance is really rare seeing how many people get banned and probably submit appeals.
