We don't know when they gonna put it server side.
Could be already live or soon but people won't get so much ban results anyway.
Even if they check every single recoil pattern in all matches we play, people still will see no-recoil cheats.
It's just how it looks like for us if we spectating someone or watching the deathcam.

If they haven't done it by now...
Read the last anti-cheat dev letter and you know why certain things can't be used fast, late, or just in parts.

"First, to counter speed hacks and flying cars, we made changes so that speed and air time for character and vehicle movement were cross-checked by the server. However, for gameplay aspects where responsiveness is key, having the server cross-check everything could result in sluggish character movement and vehicle control for everyone."
They did the same with the recoil, "Cross check", but we don't know how big the impact for the game was so it took more time. They also could use the same flag system like they use for the speedhacks and flying cars.
Only players who got flagged before, will be cross checked.
I know they look for "unusual user behaviour", but i'm not sure if it's machine learning data or just accuracy and k/d values that are too high to be realistic etc.
They do such things already but it isn't so simple than you might think.
The avg K/D of cheaters is 2, just to show how normal stats there look like.
I know, that's why I was suggesting using machine learning instead of methods like that. It is a difficult problem to solve.
But unfortunately there is one other element. To some extent it's profitable to largely ignore cheating while pretending to care. Cheaters still buy skins etc, and in games like Rust cheaters buying multiple copies of the game isn't exactly a bad thing for the devs (and game banned titles are not refundable). It costs money to work on anti cheat measures, while allowing them to flourish brings revenue. And despite constant protests about cheaters from regular players and "i'll never play this POS again!", they keep playing anyway. Maybe i'm just too much of a cynic lol.
I told you, they already use a deep learning code since 2018 but data won't show much things there.

" we have also applied a machine learning technique that analyzes our players' usage patterns and have built a system that can detect abnormal game patterns or actions that interrupt the normal operations of the game coming from hack users. "
No matter what people believe or claim, there is no benefit for the game and ignoring the problem just makes things worse.
It's one of the biggest and false rumors of all games.
PUBG did spend a lot of money so they took it really serios. The result was, people had seen cheaters are getting banned and most people who left PUBG would have left much earlier if they never would have gotten any cheaters banned. That doesn't speak for your theorie that ignoring the problem would help the devs.
You get banned because you break the rules of Steam, so stop spreading your lies pls.
you defending so obvious things.. i dont insulting you, i will just ask u what is wrong with your sense of realness ...
and yeah after years i dont like you. you talk since many years the same.
some1 flame cause cheating u come in and tell him to playy NA or FPP.
just silence pls, this game is full of hackers.
no statistics , no report to send needet. not your yelling words everything is fine.
YOU insulting the game because u didnt see the truth about cheating in pubg. U DONT.
who cares about statistics who get banned or not .. u play ingame in higher ladders u will see , what is REAL and what is statistic.
you lying to the people here.
I like to listen in facts not in any super toxic post where those things never matter.
What you wanna hear if they can't solve the problem like you wish but you still expect it
everytime you play PUBG?
If you wanna see things realistically, don't expect a much better experience in ranked.
If you play casual like me, you shouldn't meet so many cheaters because I also can win 35% of my matches without having any problems.
What I do is necessary, because people often believe in wrong things and that also could lead in such a frustration where people start to cheat too because they believe the devs wouldn't care or anything. That is in fact not true.
So I'm not lying. Not about my experience, nor about the facts of the anti-cheat or what PUBG did and does.
