Most things I added to the list coming from other users here who did find it as the reason for the crash.
Riva Tuner recently caused crashes in PUBG so make sure you don't use the new version of it.
Don't use Direct X 11 enhanced or 12, both are still in beta and could be the reason.
You can use it if you have no problems after you found the reason for your crashes.
game was crashing on start up for me to after an update then i found in task manager services tab that BEService was not running so after turning it on all is fine.

I am sorry to hear that you are encountering freeze and crash issues in the game. I understand how you feel in this situation. I really appreciate you for trying a few troubleshooting steps, however, the issue persists. Not to worry, I am here to assist you.
To help you with this, I request you to try the below troubleshooting steps:
1. Setting Affinity for TSLgame.exe process:
- Open Task Manager > Details
- Launch game
- Tab out of the game and navigate to Details > TSLgame.exe > Set affinity > disable all CPU cores except CPU 0
- Tab back in the game, the game will load in, then you can go back to Details in Task Manager and enable all CPU cores again on the TSLgame.exe
2. Enabling 2 Windows services (Security Center + Windows Management Instrumentation)
a. Press Windows key + R
b. Enter "services.msc"
c. Find the mentioned above services and Right-click-> Properties
d. Set startup type to "Automatic"
e. Start the service under "Service status"
3. Disabling HPET (High Precision Event Timer)
- Launch CMD as an Administrator
- Disable BCD entry for HPET - bcdedit /set useplatformclock false
- Restart
- On Boot, go to BIOS/UEFI and disable HPET there as well (not required/possible on some motherboards)
4. Reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable
5. Disable the anti-virus and any third-party firewall or make an exception when launching the game.
