That'd still be the PC the loading my be triggering a weak defect in your PC like the harddrive. The OPs probably is likely to be PC related too. It doesn't matter if it's one game or not. Some games can trigger defects by requiring one or another component to be need more than another game.
Apparently PUBG makes a huge surge of power comsuption from the PSU and makes the PC shutdown, because this only happens when loading a map. I've already tried installing it on a SSD, didn't work. Now on HD drive, same thing.
My PC has restarted about 20 times on this weekend because of this bug. I know it's on their side because this wasn't happening before they changed the lobby screen, after that I stopped playing for some time, waiting for a fix. Nothing
The weird thing is I play pubg every day so why did the problem just disappear for practically a year? Hardware doesn't strengthen after its been weakened. It continues to degrade until total failure.
I cleaned the fans and everything connected to airflow already.
Thats what I'm wondering... if it is specific to a piece of hardware that is triggered by the code. We will only know this by trying to find a common piece of hardware in the machines that are experiencing the issue. Unfortunately so far there isn't a common piece of hardware that I can see. If it was Nvidia I would think this thread would be huge by now??? Thoughts?
Edit: maybe small amount of users got this issue, so that's why there's not that much threads about it.
You know do not talk about 'being experienced' in something then try to throw out that a 'buggy shader' is somehow going to crash your system. That is not how things work
Again applications cannot crash the kernel. Applications cannot 'turn off' your computer.
You have either a hardware or very low level software problem. Its not thte game
But then let's look at bro's PC: optimized Win10 as well, but it's running fine with 90-100 FPS and the hardware is fine to run the game with high textures too.
"It's not the game"
Oh really? Why it started crashing or freezing that frequently after the update?
Again the game cannot 'turn off' your computer. Applications cannot do that. No mater how poorly written the game is, it cannot 'turn off' your computer. The OP is saying the game 'turns off their comptuer'. The gmae CANNOT DO THIS.
Total PC shutdown.
It is so bad it sometimes doesn't want to turn back on. Just turns itself off back to back
I have 40 GB left on C drive so that is probably not the problem
