PUBG turns off computer..
Hello everyone.
Soo I always had problems with PUBG,
like it always turned off my computer after 2 matches played, before recent Erangel Remaster. After the update all the optimisation made it so that I even had almost 60 fps. (On Very Low settings)
That being said that update also fixed my computer turning off problem.
Next day came out a small patch (I guess?) It weight 80 mb and after that small motherfingier went live the game turns off my computer right after I start to load in to the waiting lobby.

Any ideas ?
Ps. If u need anything from let me know.

Edit. I noticed something odd.

PUBG turns off my PC while trying to load into the game.

However it also so happened with downloading GTA 5 and Just Cause 3

While downloading these games my computer turned off at about 50 % of download

This led to 9 gb of files missing for GTA after verification of game files.

When I tried to download it , it downloaded about 1 gb and then again turned off PC.

I had to download it piece by piece for like 3 days.

I hope it will be different for JC 3.

So basiclly its to high temp ? I just need better cooling , like water cooling ? Or should i stick to fan cooling but better one ?
Your stock fan should do just fine, but for some reason or the other, it's not working very well. It may be really dusted up or perhaps damaged (the former also applies to your heatsink). Your thermal paste may also need replacing.

Its not overheating. Every other game runs perfectly besides PUBG. Pubg shuts PC down when loading into lobby or loading into game, but never crashes when already in game

That'd still be the PC the loading my be triggering a weak defect in your PC like the harddrive. The OPs probably is likely to be PC related too. It doesn't matter if it's one game or not. Some games can trigger defects by requiring one or another component to be need more than another game.

Apparently PUBG makes a huge surge of power comsuption from the PSU and makes the PC shutdown, because this only happens when loading a map. I've already tried installing it on a SSD, didn't work. Now on HD drive, same thing.

My PC has restarted about 20 times on this weekend because of this bug. I know it's on their side because this wasn't happening before they changed the lobby screen, after that I stopped playing for some time, waiting for a fix. Nothing

The weird thing is I play pubg every day so why did the problem just disappear for practically a year? Hardware doesn't strengthen after its been weakened. It continues to degrade until total failure.
So wait. I haven't saw anyone reporting PC turning off after some matches in PUBG using AMD GPU. Could it be Nvidia only issue then?

I cleaned the fans and everything connected to airflow already.

Thats what I'm wondering... if it is specific to a piece of hardware that is triggered by the code. We will only know this by trying to find a common piece of hardware in the machines that are experiencing the issue. Unfortunately so far there isn't a common piece of hardware that I can see. If it was Nvidia I would think this thread would be huge by now??? Thoughts?

No idea. Just asked my friend that uses Nvidia GPU, he said no issues at all. No input lags, no freezes, no PC reboots.
Edit: maybe small amount of users got this issue, so that's why there's not that much threads about it.

if its turning off your computer you have a hardware or os level problem, games cant do that

Sounds mre like you have a cooling issue on your GPU or CPU
Well, me and my bro experienced that tho out hardware and OS is stable as hecc. So that might be buggy shader or map. Or both. idk

You know do not talk about 'being experienced' in something then try to throw out that a 'buggy shader' is somehow going to crash your system. That is not how things work

Again applications cannot crash the kernel. Applications cannot 'turn off' your computer.

You have either a hardware or very low level software problem. Its not thte game

Yea, funny thing is my GPU is under minimal requirements BUT it's running the game with 70-80 FPS cause of optimized Win10
But then let's look at bro's PC: optimized Win10 as well, but it's running fine with 90-100 FPS and the hardware is fine to run the game with high textures too.
"It's not the game"
Oh really? Why it started crashing or freezing that frequently after the update?

Again the game cannot 'turn off' your computer. Applications cannot do that. No mater how poorly written the game is, it cannot 'turn off' your computer. The OP is saying the game 'turns off their comptuer'. The gmae CANNOT DO THIS.

Total PC shutdown.

It is so bad it sometimes doesn't want to turn back on. Just turns itself off back to back

Try to clear your C drive for additional Ram? Have at least 10Gb free while playing

I have 40 GB left on C drive so that is probably not the problem
