having same problem , specs should be more then enough so no idea wtf is going on
Hi , i have the same problem during months , and i made ALL the advices that people and Admin tells me: restart game / NO overcloking / Deactivate firewalll / stop programs in memory / everthing u can imagine , and ....... NOTHING works , constan crash that turnos Off computer suddenly.

I found that i have always crash 90 % all time , with smoke nades when i approach to smoke or i get inside when team mate try to wake up , and when jump from plane in the jungle map and see the wolrd map from above , always crash too .

U can Imagine i am playing with no smokes nades , when a team mate was to wake me up when i was down with smokes nades i always go outside the smoke , thats hilarius my teammate what are u doing , go inside smoke , bla bla bla ... I cant my pc crash , hilarius again. so i give u the SOLUTION :-)

Install MSI AFTERBURNER and Put POWER LIMIT betwen 80 - 90 % and try , for me works fine all the time , no crashes i can get inside smoke nades and no crash , i have playing 3 weeks witcj 0 crash lot of hours.

play with the POWER LIMIT and then up the frecuency of CORE for no Lost FPS.

I have 1080 TI - POWER LIMIT 85% - Core Frecuency + 100 + Memory Frecuency + 50 , after that i keeping my 144 fps in Medium (1080P) and 0 crash.

One last Thing , Open MSI Afterburner with ur Settings and then Closed MSI Aft. , PUBG dont works fine with MSI Afterburner OPEN At same Time , when u close MSI after Apply the new valours of power Limit , the valours keeps ON u can check witch GPU Shark program and see that the valours its ON. IÇ have Marked in Afterb. the Option Start with Windows and always apply the power limit valour.

u can Test the stability using FURMARK program and play with frecuencies for see what config give u more fps in the test program.
For me, my settings that i put before was PL 85% + core +100 mem + 50.

if dont increasing frecuency and memory u only lost 2-3 fps but more stability.

So thats what ive fixed , now i have 0 CRASH

I Hope it Works for U. See ya in Game for chicken dinners , my nick "Gow_Lock"

you have good temperatures and a sufficient PC for pubg, it will not be for that, almost certainly it is for the graphics card.

In my case the problem came from the graphics card, with other games it does not happen to me, only with pubg, this is very demanding of graphic load and it will not be very optimized. you say you can't unlock the power limit, have you tried the latest version of msi afterburner? , there are graphics that do not allow unlocking, I do not know if it will be the case of yours.
You can also try lowering the level of details and resolution so that the graphics card does not suffer so much.

Close all applications please and try it again. Also MSI and Riva.

Did you set an exception of PUBG to your anti-virus?
If not, do it pls. Not the the firewall, to the threat protection.
