Don't start playing this game if you're new.
Level 500 people will BEAM you from across the map every time. You're literally playing lobby simulator.

I was literally on topic. How am I ignorant for trying to help someone? Most of the people are 500 level players, without them new players would need to play against bots. The only thing left is he can try to do one of my suggestions. I agree with the new players being shy to play this game and no one can judge them. No need for over-salty comments :steamsalty: .
ok sorry, i am a little pissed because i spend money in it, how hard can it be to add some sort of matchmaking, it has never occur to them in the first place?lol, all other competitive games have it, i think the devs are incompetent, new players are not shy to play, it's just too hard man, it needs some getting used to, the movements are slow and the recoil is absurd, you need to get used to it and you need time, since this game is a no brainer, they need to learn from fortnite, if fortnite can do it so can pubg, if they don't change it i will never play it again, change the game or lose the players their choice.
I understand the frustration, I also get mad everytime I play pubg. There is so many improvements that they can do easily, but they just don’t care. I am an old player but even I hesitate to play sometimes because novadays I don’t have neither time nor the patience to play this game 7/24. The recoils are really absurd and the gameplay is unforgiving. I got used to it over time but if I knew it would be this hard to get used to it, I would never start playing this game. So, I understand the problem for new players. If only they gave us a choice to play in small maps, atleast slow gameplay wouldn’t be much of a problem.

lol pubg doesn't even have enough players to divide them between different maps to choose and people are excepting it to divide players by skill levels XDD

but you also have to consider that especially in pubg even an absolute nub can kill a pro when hes lucky with position or with a grenade

this is not possible in other shooters like Quake or unreal tournament - a noob will always score 0 to 10000 against a pro

I think he was refering to the overwelming presence of hackers that ruin the game...
cheater will not reach lv.500 i spotted them under lv.100 everytime and get banned.
but some rare case that lv.500 using a cheat in ranked mode will get banned too(easily get caught)
veteren player over 1000 hr know what shot can do by a human and what cannot when they watch a deathcam
Just practice, you can ♥♥♥♥ on any level people. dont expect to own people easy that have 3k or more hours in the game

Dont start doing anything if you are new! Wait until the world adapts to you wishes, and if it doesnt you just get salty and start trolling the internet.

I have seen so many cheaters in 500 level. One of them even had skins from the very first survivor pass.

I'm an experienced player. But all those level 500 just own me in seconds. It's not fun at all.

This may come as a shock but, this is normal for EVERY online multiplayer game. Of course new players are gonna lose against people who has hundreds of hours of playtime.

Gamers now-a-days are just getting more salty I swear...
Salty = not having fun because you get destroyed by people with x100 your experience?

THAT is how YOU define "salty"?

Escrito originalmente por eggy ladd:
Just like Über said, this applies for every online game. You can’t expect to be in the same shoes with people that are 500 level.
Well, then I guess it's totally fair to match noobs against them. Just tough luck for those that aren't good.

Hatred and intolerance are why games like these are so toxic.

You get good by dying to more experenced players and then start einning your games.
You improve by working at your skill over time. Not by losing to people completely outside your skill level.

No sport on earth do you walk in and immediately play against the best. Except video games. Only then.

Everything else starts with casual. Then minors. Then majors.

You aren't supposed to have to fight majors on your first day. It isn't fair. It isn't fun. Games are supposed to be fun. You are supposed to have a fair chance. What's the point, otherwise? To be fodder? You really expect ANYONE to enjoy that?!

Shouldn't have to play 8 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just to have a chance at winning. That's totally unreasonable. You shouldn't HAVE to be god-like.

Getting kills is way more fun than winning, and it improves your aim. I never feel bad when I get more than 7 kills and then die.
Then you are way above average or trolling. 7 kills per game is outrageous. Only the best of the best can do that.

Okay, you are good. Applying that to the average player, however, is absurd. As few could ever HOPE to match that.

No, I agree with you. You should be fighting with people that are same level with you. But that is not how it works for pubg because people who play this game are usually experienced players; this game doesn't welcome the new players very much. Recoils etc. are so hard and the game is very unforgiving. I wouldn't want to play either if I were new. I just wanted to give you some suggestions if you want to keep playing.
Also, 7 kills is actually not hard to get once you get used to the game. Of course you can't expect to get it as soon as you start, but I just wanted to suggest that you should always try to play for kills to get better.
Games should be fun just like you said. But pubg is far from fun in my opinion, especially for new players. I don't play very often because I can't play in the small maps, and I don't like wasting my time looting and trying to find someone for 20 mins.

That's the thing though. It could be better. MM could take this into account. And it doesn't. Which, I feel, is a valid criticism of the game.

800 hours of playing and I can't recall ever getting 7 kills in a game.

The problem is that this is used as an excuse for every game that comes out.

Not good at Street Fighter? You can't possibly expect to be as good as people that have played fighting games for many years prior.

Not good at CoD? You can't possibly expect to be as good as people that have played first-person-shooters for many years prior.

So... at what point are there NOT a ton of experts gatekeeping me? At what point does casual actually mean casual and not a mode for hardcore players to own noobs?

i'm sick of facing unbeatable opponents in online games. I just want it to be reasonably fair. Doesn't have to be perfect. Just something resembling fair. I don't get that out of PUBG. Never have, never will.

PUBG is not a safe space. Its pretty brutal with all those hackers and twitchy trigger finger pro's. Just "git gud" and you might score a chicken dinner.
