I was suggested the latest update ...
and updates are not available
I just excluded the whole Steam folder for PUBG in my antivirus, didn't help. Now I'm trying to remove the folder from the local apps which stores all the PUBG settings (grapchis, keybinds etc) and validate game files again.
Intel Core i7 4770S
ASUS Z87I-PRO
EVGA RTX2070 Driver: 460.89
Win10 Pro 20H2 Build 19042.685
-switch off windows firewall & anti-virus
-validating gamefiles
-delete game config-files
don't solve the problem
(i have the same problem since more than a year, your GPU is whining because at that precise moment it's pushing over 4000fps)
for me pressing a random key every time i start the game when the black screen appears, or slightly before, always did the trick so far, but maybe your issue is different with the same symptoms, idk...
Interesting, I'll give it a try! Could it have anything to do with the high FPS? I could try limiting the FPS to my monitor refresh rate. Also, seems like yesterday they released new GPU drivers, gonna try that too.
Yesterday I uninstalled the game (again), also uninstalled GF Experience and manually deleted GPU drivers, rebooted and installed the latest drivers.
Btw, could it be an MSI Afterburner problem? Do you use it? I don't use any of it's OC or voltage or power features, I just monitor my FPS, frame times and temps and such but it's the sort of program that could cause conflicts. Last time I had crashing problems with PUBG it was due to CPU overclocking.
i use an old version of msi afterburner, but i don't oc with it, i just use it to monitor from times to times.
Every rig is different though, hard & software wise, i think we have the same problem, but maybe not for the same reasons.
You could try using DDU being 2 GPU driver install while you're at it.
I'm glad i so far never had to do anything more than pressing a random key to make that screen disappear & the lobby load.
I hope you'll find a fix that works for you.
Sorry my bad english
