Shroud Might Not Be Who Everyone Thinks He Is...

Shroud, who everyone seems to love and idolize does not look very legitimate or trustworthy and comes off as very suspicious when you look through all of the footage that has been compiled by people on YouTube of him snapping onto enemy's behind walls and often friendly firing his own team mates while snapping onto targets who are either driving in cars or behind walls, which is very unnatural.


The vast majority of people who have been pointing these things out have been discredited due to people who keep saying the 3 main arguments that defend Shroud;

1) "Oh, well he used to play CS:GO Competitive and has 1000's of hours on FPS'S"

Yea in CSGO… I'm talking about PUBG though, not CSGO. Just because you're a pro Nascar driver, doesn't mean you're a pro Formula Racer. Same goes for shooters. Is he extremely good at PUBG due to being great at CSGO? Sure. But then why doesn't he enter any tournaments? Why are there so many fishy situations with him? Why are there so many questionable moments? Why does he refuse to stream anything other than full screen? With all these allegations against him about hacking, I'd think joining even 1 tournament to prove he is that good in PUBG just to shut up all the people accusing him if anything.. But he doesn't. That is just another mark that raises suspicions. (Since you don't use personal computers, so no chance he could cheat). He does nothing to prove anything. Even 1 stream of a camera on his keyboard and mouse would prove it. Yet he won't even do that simple gesture of proof... Why? You'd think if you had nothing to hide you'd have no problem proving you are as good as you are. Yet he doesn't. There have been many amazing gamers who have been accused of cheating, and they did one of many things to prove they are legit... It's only cheaters that I see ignore the accusations, and or do nothing to prove it, because they can't. Just yet another of many questionable marks on shroud.

I UNDERSTAND THAT HE HAS PREVIOUS FPS EXPERIENCE AND CAN BE GOOD AT FPS'S. That being said, HE STILL TOGGLES ON HIS AIMBOT ON AN OFF SOMETIMES TO KEEP VIEWER RETENTION and doesn't get banned for this specific act due to him bringing in publicity for the game. It's called an act, he switches it on and off it different situations and plays it off as the game being weird each time that he realizes he messed up on stream. I can go on all day about this and can keep showing you various other clips that make absolutely no sense with him flicking on to people behind walls and "accidentally" friendly firing people due to a bug in the aimlock, but again you will refuse to believe any of it.

2) "Oh, you're just mad cuz bad, you're just jealous of him because he's better."

And to that I say, I'd be perfectly fine if someone was this good… But there are too many red flags, and questionable situations. Then you gotta ask yourself, why doesn't he ever join any type of actual competitive tournaments? You'd think it'd be a fresh cool difference now and again. Someone THAT good, able to perfectly snap onto heads in .05 seconds should be DOMINATING in tournaments, yet he seems to be scared to go in.. Just makes you question.. 1 of many things.

3) "Oh, you must be some conspiracy theorist who thinks that ALL streamers/pro gamers are using hacks/aimlock"

Don't try to use your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ generalization fallacy on this argument, no one said EVERY streamer and or pro player is hacking. Ninja, Dr. Disrespect, JoshOG, TSM_Viss, etc. are all great examples of people who are insanely good that aren’t hacking and not even a hint of questionable ♥♥♥♥. There is nothing to suggest or hint that they do. Shroud is a completely different story though. If all of these other pro gamers, streamers were using aimbot or hacking why aren’t there any videos for them doing questionable ♥♥♥♥ but there is a ton for Shroud? What it’s just a coincidence?

4) “If Shroud is a cheater, why hasn’t he got banned yet then!?

THE DEVS ARE NOT GOING TO BAN THE GUY BOTH BECAUSE HE GIVES THE GAME FREE PUBLICITY WITH HIS TWITCH VIEWS AND ALSO BECAUSE A LOT OF PEOPLE BOUGHT PUBG DUE TO HIS STREAM. On top of that, he is too big of a name now for them to ban. Can you imagine how many fanboys would stop playing this game if they made it public? Bluehole are completely aware of his antics but if they ban him it will have serious repercussions on the player base and also will be quite a loud statement about what really goes on in this game. That being said, Bluehole is not going to ban one of their biggest cash cows and the person that is bringing light to their game the most. This is clearly evident by the fact that Shroud does get special treatment from Pubg Corp. He was even invited to their HQ n gave his opinions on the game. Some have even reported that some of the changes that happened in the big update last week were because of Shroud. Like lvl 3 helmet being crate only. Apparently he didn’t like or saw to many at the end of the game all having lvl 3 helmets. Bottom line, however, is that it would hurt Bluehole’s business too much to ban the guy, thus they have no reason to do so even if they know that he is blatantly cheating.

Whether he's cheating or not is up for debate, however from all of the proof shown recently it is very likely that he does. All I know is if you're smart you can hide the fact you're cheating extremely well. You can toggle those hacks on and off. His excuse of how his "snap" isn't cheating could be completely legit. Or it could be that he simply presses a button to toggle the snap then turns it off, then readjusts the tiny bit at the end, which would completely cover up the fact he used a cheat. There are MANY videos of shrouds replays slowed down that shows extremely sketchy situations, like him "snapping" to an enemy that goes behind a wall and he starts shooting into a completely different building.. Someone who is supposedly THIS good, simply wouldn't do stupid ♥♥♥♥ like that unless he's relying on some third-party program. But who am I to say. There's a lot of sketchy ♥♥♥♥, but he hides it well.

Wow, as if what you said is a valid comparison. Look at any of the videos yourself, judge them with a nonbias opinion and tell me that none of it looks suspicious to you. I'd be hard pressed to believe that even someone who is fond of Shroud doesn't find any of these clips to be suspicious, then again like I've said before, nobody cares about the truth if it doesn't fit their agenda. Also, what definitive proof do you need exactly? Because from my understanding, his gameplay has been analyzed by various pros who know how the game works and compared his videos next to legitimate ♥♥♥ usage footage and it looks identical. What other proof do you need exactly?

He doesn't use his aimbot all of the time, but he does flick it on from time to time. It makes perfect sense also because no one is going to question someone who used to be in the pro scene for an fps and has thousands of hours in the game. He does it for viewer retention and also because his loyal fan base is not going to believe that he cheats no matter how much proof you put in front of their face. Also, the devs are not going to ban the guy either because he gives the game free publicity with his twitch views. It's all business and I know most people who idolize Shroud won't bother looking at the facts because of their clouded judgment, but what can you do.

Have you done something constantly for that long? You'll get really good muscle memory for that and memorize how to control things easily. It's not what an aimbot does and he has a lot of whiff moments. Cheaters don't whiff, they can be bad at cheating, but the pro cheats will make it look like a consistent bs triggering where they never miss. Shroud misses a lot and it happens commonly. Personally, since i am not a cheater anyway, i'd just keep playing fair and square, getting 5-7+ KD ratio is not that hard if you are decent at FPS games. I don't owe anyone anything and that includes proving counterevidence against those who claim i am a cheater.

What amazes me so much is that people spend so much time and effort trying to convict Shroud as some sort of cherat, but they never bring a single piece of evidence that isn't perfectly explainable.

Watch some of his streams of when he is playing with the eye tracker it may give you a better perspective of just how fast his eyes are at spotting people. there was one the other night I saw where he jumps from behind a UAZ I think and spots two guys over a road at a nearby compound, just for a split second, you can see the eye tracker flit to one and then the other, then he lands behind the truck, peeks and splats the first one and then super quicky flicks to the other who wasn't really visible while he was shooting the first, but having the eye tracker shows you that he knew there was one there and once he knocked the firtst he had to move that way to find the next.

seriously though the fact people bring up his thousands of hours of CSGO are that a large portion of that is watchable online and in all those hours and hours of footage, no one has been able to show evidence of cheats.

I will watch those videos if you want and can probably point out why what you thought was dodgy was in fact legit.

why doesn't he compete ... well that should be blatantly obvious to anyone with half a brain, he competed for years as a CSGO Pro, but the strain of the constant travel wore him down, he found he could make much better money from streaming and he could do it in the comfort of his home with no pressure to be the best other than that which you put on yourself.
Sounds tempting doesn't it, now so he is a RETIRED Pro gamer hence he doesn't enter Pro tournaments, he does enter various tournaments like for charity or for streamers for fun.
So yeah, become a pro player ... and lost your streamer revinue because you cant stream nearly as much and you have top dedicate a heap of time to specific strategies.
He doesn't even play PUBG to win, he plays to get frags and good content.

I also love how this clip of him snapping to a team mate behind him is somehow proof of aimbot .. no aimbot in history ever aimed at friendlies, that kid of defeats the purpose of them and is one of the first pieces of code done when creating an aimbot !
in fact this video is proof of him not cheating, its proof of his hand eye coordination, his special / game awareness and of how quickly he recognises that he is shooint a friendly .. I mean how many times have you been surprised by a team mate and mowed them down and not realised until you get a message you just friendly fired someone ?

What you are saying currently is a very convuluted and poor attempt again as to defend your idol. I'm sorry buddy, but the clips that you are watching yourself have been analyzed by actual pros themselves and they say otherwise. Nobody can be that accurate not missing a bullet he snaps to them way to perfectly. Also, I know what aimbot looks like myself. I've fiddled with coding them before and yes they can bug which could cause a mix of enemy to friendlies. Stop worshipping this guy like he's some sort of PUBG God.

So I guess the aimlock bugged when he flicked to the stone where there were no player nearby in the m249 clip. He snapped to that spot as quick as he is snapping to the other places.
