Is it safe to play pubg now, or are the unwarrented banns still happening?

I am wanting to play some pubg, but havnt for the last few days due to the insane ammount of unwarrented banns flying around thanks to the combo of the battleeye glitch and the last patch for the game.

I have heard that some who were banned unwarrently last couple of days for just playing have since then had their ban lifted, while others who were not cheating and still got banned have yet to be get their ban lifted, and still others who were not cheating and gotten banned unfairly have been told by (i think the devs) that due to the glitch and the last patch, there is nothing they can do and the player's ban is perm, which is dumb as hell.

Any ideas guys if its safe to play or not. I have no intrest of playing, only to get a unfair ban, or run the risk of getting one due to battleye glitch or whatnot, while me thinking it will be lifted in a few hrs/days, only to recive a letter by the devs that my ban is perm and they cant fix it, like how it's happened with a few non-hacking froemds of mine over the last 2-3 days. This is total bull, and the mostlynegative rating the game has now is completely deserving imo!!

Oh also cheats for other games other than pubg will get you banned too as the anticheat can detect cheats for other games too.

Thats true, and it should in my opion. Im strickly talking pubg though. And to my knowlege my friends only play this game that requires battleeye to run

Honestly, I think they should just lift ALL bans that occured during this bugs existence. yea, maybe a few cheaters get a free pass another day but a bunch of honest and good players dont get robbed by 30$. Shouldn't even issue bans at all if they can't do it correctly.

Exactly. That is the whole reason why i posted this to ask if its still safe. According to some, they are still geting banned, last post of a player being banned or not getting their ban lifted was 10 min ago roughly, so its still happening unfortunetly.

No, innocent people did get banned. I was one of them. I filed a report and then my ban was lifted. I know the system is messed up because I would never hacked and I still was temporarily given a permanent game ban.

My thoughts exactly my friend. After this, Bluehole has to earn our respect and trust back. So many are perm done with the game cuz of this. I for one prob wont play for a few months at the least. BLuehole wasnt ever really reliable anyways, look how many times they have to keep the game updated. I mean updating is fine and all and good overall but if they have to put out a 23mb update every 50min-2hrs just to keep the hackers away, then that shows how bad of a defence they have for their game against hackers

It doesnt conceal ur bans, just what games you have, wishlist, or the hrs played. Bro, everyone knows that. Game bans and valve bans still show up on private profiles. How long have u been on steam. a month? Ur sounding more like a kid whos had some bad run-ins with hackers man.

I like that thousands of people got banned in a huge spike because of these false positives. Then SOME get unbanned, then they conveniently say all others broke their rules of conduct. I know a few friends that did not cheat use any offensive name, team, offensive language (never use ingame chat). They were banned at the time when all others got banned. They were in my game and I got 8 kills more than one of em and 5 more than another and they did NOT cheat in any way. I don't care about your opinion but I am sure they got falsely banned and the fact they have not been lifted makes me distrust PUBG tremendously untill they are. What keeps them from banning you or me the next time you start a game and say "You broke the code of cunduct" and there ain't ♥♥♥♥ you can do about it.

Pretty much agree with you there on all lvls. That is why im asking if its still safe. I doubt it
