something else is killing it maybe, but not shadows
And disabling shadows would give you unfair advantage in the game as you could spot people easier so that could even lead to a ban
welcome to 2017 PC gaming
lmao
1) read the patch notes
2) enter the game
3) check how people feel on lower end PC's
then write something useful if you have it
This. The people looking to cheat and get advantages can get F!@#ED
Forcing a high level of shadows, ambient occlusion, bloom and depth of field on everyone does nothing to "level the playfield". Much on the opposite, it's harming most of the player base. I don't have a performance problem with that but won't be playing the game now simply because it looks horrible.
they have a fix for low end pc coming i think they called it xbox one
come on. the pc i play pubg on is an oldy. i72600k @3.4ghz , 680gtx 2gb and 16gb RAM. This update has made perforamnce BETTER for me across the board. Glad to see everyone using same shadows now as the difference was pretty large before.
I don't have a performance problem with PUBG. Saying that forcing all these stuff on players "levels the playfield" is just plain dumb. Besides, it makes the game look horrible.
