Hacking/Cheating Serious Question

As an avid pubg player I've put 416 hours into this game, and rank within the top 5% on the NA server. Additionally, I've played consistantly since it's pre-release. Honestly, I've ran into a total of 4 literal hackers in all my hours played. To me that's almost nothing if not normal for a game this popular. However, the disscusion board is littered with angry people complaining about all these hackers everyday. So is it really that big of an issue, or are there just a bunch of unskilled people complaining that they keep getting killed and the only possible explanation is hackers? Lmk.

One we ran into earlier tonight, since the crates have been added its almost every game when we play in TPP, I normally hover around the 1% rank but I have dropped to 2.5/3ish with the increased number of aimbots.

In top 3% and higher in EU FPP its a pain in the ass in solo matching since December.
Duo is getting slowly but stedily flooded too.
Alot of people i know are stoping to play due the above.

Blueholes current measurements is a joke, for most cheaters. Theres freecheat reviews out there which state " rage hacking since 1 months and no ban yet " i mean when they cheat like 5-10 matches in a row they should have gotten 100+ reports, how come they are still playing and using these cheats which they can download for free ? I myslef have sent in 24 clips of people clearly cheating and they are not banned since 3 weeks......

They want PUBG to be supported for years, without a future income stream then the money made from selling even 50 million copies would be gone in less than 2 years just on servers and maintenance. You want this game to improve, you want future development, then you need crates its as simple as that, they said that's why they are doing it.

Make everything free to open and there is no revenue stream for them.

Bluehole already announced that after they got through those 1.5 million bans in november ish, that cheting had been reduced to less than 25% of what it previously was .

So kinda the opposite of the tip of the iceberg. But you keep on berleiving that everyone who killed you is cheating, whatever ego boost you need to get by kid

Tip of the iceberg is a figure of speach not a literall percentage. You must be on the spectrum, I didn't realise.

To be clear, all it means is that to expect a lot more out there that have yet to be uncovered. Clearly knowing specific % is not possible.

Possibly, but during the whole EA ordeal they stated that removing the buying of loot crates wouldn't affect thier bottomline at all. That statement alone ruined it for all these other publishers because if it doesn't affect thier bottomline then it's simply just a way to gouge extra money from the community.

I think its partially time your playing. at about 6am my time (MST) it gets the the point where i just finished making a post about the last 6 games i played i had hackers every single game. and its not me just whining i died. its i hear a bullet whip past me when im in a building. so i run to a bathroom. no windows. then i get head shot through the wall by a guy with a pistol or a shotgun from over a KM away.

I didn't see anything off in that. When I spectate my friends after a death I always see the scope behind the target. It's a glitch in the spectating/replay modes Bluehole needs to fix. Another normal glitch in those modes is when a person scopes the scope will show you looking into the ground or into the sky. It's a pretty dumb glitch. But I believe this is also one of many reasons why people believe there are so many hackers, the game itself isn't near perfect with all the bugs and glitches it has.

Basically you dont understand the cheats that are in use and are getting blissfully killed without knowing. You must think this game is really hard, people knowing exactly where you are all the time and landing headshots on you without even trying.

And being good at the game = being qualified to detect cheaters? You have to be top 5% to have the right to denounce a cheater?

If you go frame by frame, ignoring the fact you were standing out in the middle of nowhere, the weapon had sway to it. You can clearly see it swings from your right shoulder to your left as he stands still. As for the vertical recoil itself.. yeah it's a bit flat. So maybe you're are right, maybe there are more cheaters using a recoil macro that I don't notice. But on that same note I wouldn't have been out in the middle of nowhere to get murdered like that and would have probably gotten the drop on that guy. But as I keep saying, people with the recoil hack for the most part can't aim worth a damn anyway so I most likely don't notice them. Yes, they playing field should be even but they're not invincible.

Overall, I get the big picture now. There is a lot more hacking then what I've been most likely seeing. Specifically the recoil macro/hack. As I've said a handful of time now, I haven't seen most of these recoil hacks simply because most people with this hack have garbage aim anyway. I always end up getting into the top 10 and manage to get a couple chicken dinners each game session. So I don't "feel" like there is much cheating going on. But in reality there is quite a number of people getting cheated by this hack. All I can say from my experience is don't just stand out in the middle of nowhere like in the video "TheGoodOne=cheater" and know when you're outclassed or outnumbered and need a tactical retreat like in the video "https://www.twitch.tv/videos/218624138". There are easy preventative measures to play more tactically and to more or less negate the recoil cheaters. But as I stated it should be a level playing field and I hope Bluehole is really putting in the effort to get rid of these guys.

Also, you shouldn't take these replays and spectated modes as the final word. A lot of people submitted videos showing people looking at the ground or sky and getting kills, or sights lagging behind a person and shots still connecting. You shouldn't take these particular replays and spectated modes as the final word. These aren't hacks. It's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ coding on Bluehole's end. Whenever you spectate or replay someone that goes to aim down sights these modes almost always glitch perspective. Another bug Bluehole needs to get around to fixing.
