does loot crates left by dead players disappear?

i went to pecado to search for meds cuz i was in the blue and did not find ANY crates left by dead players. do they disappear cuz of server load, performance etc

No i dont think they do but it might be a good idea if they did for a small performance boost like if they are out side of the zone for x amount of time they despawn

They do not. I find old battle loot all the time.

that's like saying nobody died in military base or school. there's no way that happened. i also looked up the match on pubg op gg which shows all the player deaths marked on the map and like always, a lot of ppl died on pecado

Might be unlikely but not impossible.

Doesnt pubg op gg only show your encounters?

Watch your replay, see if maybe you just didn't wander past them? I've done that on several occasions.

I kind of liked the idea of the timer despawn. Maybe after the blue has moved X meters or something past the box it despawns. This would allow players to run out and grab boxes on the edge of the line for a bit.

i literally walked through the stadium and the casino there's no way the boxes would blend in to environment there. no loot was found, i kept my inventory open to see if the boxes were invisible but the only loot i could find were items not picked up by any players
