Closed. I have the corsair h115i.
Sounds like you need to reapply your thermal paste or turn up your fan speed. Also, i would stress test your cpu with another demanding game and let it run, your pump on the h115i might be dying.
Thanks I'll keep that in mind, though I've been playing a lot of other games with no problem, so I figured it might be an early access bug.
Nice I have the H55 my temp in pubg sits at 77c I have a i7. I never monitored my temp before the patch so I cant say if there is a difference.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dude. That's a hell of a CPU and cooling efficiency.
Using a Hyper 212x.
My i7 4770k also runs with 3.9 GHz. Max 60c with Noctua.
the max Tcase is recommended is at 74.04C before you will encounter thermal throttle and possible BSOD.. the h115i should be fine..
if not, you can make sure you keep your ambient room temp low as possible, or double check your fan speeds / curve and your pump speeds.. keep the air moving, fans are much more replaceable than your cpu .. let em rip!
Ryzen 1600x 4ghz
Geforce GTX 1060
16 GB DDR4
if complete watercooling, be sure to stay under 60°C cpu while running OCCT loading CPU + GPUs. CPU will start to throttle at 65-70°C(intel, depends on models), so ensuring to be below 60°C give you room for hotter days.
on my rig with 2600k@ 4.2Ghz + 2x 280x @ 1150Mhz, i reached my highest temp a few days ago at 62°C under game load (with Xfire enabled) after 2 hours on the hottest day in 3 years (40°C ambiant). and no throttling nor damage. liquid was 47°C (usually runs at 40°C max under OCCT, around 37°C under Xfire game)
at 90°C comp will auto shutdown
also check liquid temp, pump are ratted to 60°C max (laing D5)
also since last patch, game is just a mess, i have bad lag / freeze and crashes non-stop (and i do monitor a lot of temp like GPU vrms etc... definitely not a temp issue
