I use Q and E all the time BTW.
I stand by what I said earlier.
First of all, if you lean you have to hold the right mouse button. THEN you can lean. How often exactly in a game do you actually do that? I obviously do it to shoot but that sure is not a good amount of time in a match.
Then, secondly, the only real reason to lean would be because you are close to an obstacle. Leaning in the middle of a field lead to absolutely no advantages whatsoever, either in aiming or dodging. If I see someone who just wiggle around (which I've never seen in 220 hours of play!) then I'll just shoot the body instead. Not to say that if you are trying to dodge bullets then speed is the only ally you have and hodling your aim is going to slow you to a crawl.
Now, in a scenario that you are behind a wall or something and you wish to take that something for cover... You're going to lean out of cover to shoot, lean back in cover after shooting and keep doing this all over again... Because if you just stay leaned forward enough to be able to pull out your gun and shoot then you're just as exposed for a shot than if you were in the open. If you'd ever just want to stay leaned and just walk to the side to get out of cover and back in again then you'll again be going it super slow because you move while aiming plus you're going to take a heavy hit to precision while doing so...
So, I am still asking the question... WHY would you ever want to do this? :/
its not a big deal and it wouldnt be an effort for them to add the option
toggle lean on off its easy
its so when your behind a tree lets say and your having a stand off instead of being stationary then lean and walk out you can toggle the lean so your leaning it;ll first or third idk whhat your saying about mouse button as its q and e to lean , so your ads you hit q or e then your leaning then u can use wasd freely rather then trying to hold q or e and used wasd do you get it?
so you can toggle lean and starfe in and out of cover whilst peeking
so this is just an idea of what i mean dont worry to much about what hes saying im just talking about watch him walking whilst leaning and starfing and peeking e.t.c
surely you can understand the importance of peeking and leaning during combat, this just simply makes it easiuer to control, you tap q or e and are now peeking and then just tap again to straighten up
Make a macro. I use a logitech. So I can make it toggle on key press. Just dont plan on typing anything while you are in game.
its not about leaning indefinitely its about being able to lean and peek without holding q and e u can just tap it
IMHO if you do get what you ask and do it all the time it's just a plus for me: you'll be way more vulnerable this way.
Mapping Q and E to buttons on your mouse might just do you wonders. Just saying.
