Black screen problem.

When i play pubg my pc randomly goes into a black screen and my monitor goes into power saving mode. The only way to get out of it is to force restart my pc. I'm tired of restarting my pc and this crash happens usually in-game. Any suggestions to fix this problem.

I had a similar prob (I think, not too sure if my PC really entered power saving mode) but with various games. I moved recently, so I checked all cables and plugs, pressed on all of them a little and this weird crash vanished.

OP's time of post where about the time PUBG had a very awkward memeory leak that broke GPU's from nvidia that was irrilivent to the the AMD issue that was happening with AMD Users.

I had to return my desktop because of that too. Thankfully, The RMA only took a month so thats not much!

Yep , I posted this a while ago . Pubg might have fixed it .

No geforce experience.

I try many way (like drivers update, cleaning, re installing, etc...), but pb always up...

This is a New bug from the last patch! its happening to pretty much everyone so dont worry about it! It will get fixed in a new update.

I just built... a brand new nvidia 1080ti (EVGA FTW3), intel i7 7800x, asrock x299 board, ad I run PUBG at 4k resolution. Before this system, I ran an nvidia 960 based system and had performance issues, but never black screens.

Now, with the brand new system - after playing 20+ hours without any trouble - Im getting the monitor sleep mode thing every 5-10 seconds. PUBG is unplayable right now. Nothing else has any issues.

Not sure what "necro" means in terms of a current issue that matches the same issue. Are you from some >place where this makes sense?

The issue isnt fixed. Brand new stock system - game ran fine for 20 hours then suddenly I get black screen/sleep mode every 5-10 seconds. I see others reporting the same issue, but "waiting for a patch." I dont see what happened with that... and PUBG is unplayable for me at this point.

It's your monitor then. My buddy has had this problem since it was a old one and when he got a new one no more issues.

No, its a brand new 4k gsync monitor by acer, the predator XB1 series. It runs perfectly in dozens of other aaa games which utilize adaptive sync. Rebooting the system, again, seems to resolve the issue temporarily but it eventually comes back.

I'm sometimes getting the same black screen when finishing a game and returning to main menu or when trying to join a new game only happens with pubg. Need to restart pc to get game to close. i54670k 16gb ram GTX 1080

Getting a different GPU fixed my issue but this is not acceptable bluehole.

Brand new 1080ti GPU here. It started happening with the new GPU, and there are no other issues on my system.

Reboot fixed the issue... and it hasnt happened again. So far.
