updated my drivers and my game, activated the highlight feature in the nvidia experience overlay.

none of my kills or chicken dinners were recorded though.

do i need to activate something else in order to record my highlights?

If you are refering to shadowplay, you need to press specific button combo to save past 5 minutes or whatever you have set for it to record.

the new feature that came out with todays patch is - according to twitter - an automatic highlight recording. the way i understood it is that the game tells the driver to record. no button press should be needed.

For nvidia shadowplay, default menu overlay key is alt+f12

Make sure instant replay is on. It will save up to 20mins if you change the settings a bit.
Be mindful tho, if you are recording to the same drive your pubg is on you're going to have a bad day.

so insta replay is required for auto highlight to work?

just to make sure: i do not want to use auto highlights. i want the new feature that (should) save knockdowns, kills and chicken dinners automatically.

To activate ShadowPlay Highlights in PUBG you’ll need to update to the latest version of PUBG, and have GeForce Experience 3.8 or higher and a GeForce GTX graphics card. Once you start your game in the lobby, GeForce Experience will ask if you want to enable ShadowPlay Highlights for PUBG. After you click "Yes" Highlights will automatically be recorded without any further input.

At the end of the match all your Highlights will be available for you to share. You can select which Highlights to save to your Gallery, or share immediately to Facebook or YouTube.

i got it working, but whenever i kill someone the ''kill saved'' msg comes like 1 minute later, and when i re watch the moments it only recorded 2 seconds of things i did after the kill, so it didnt record a kill or anything
ddrei Aug 22, 2017 @ 4:35am
that is werid. i get the kill saved message a minute later as well but at the end of the game, i get all the highlights in roughly 40 second bits that i can cap before i upload them
My issue is that my game actually froze a few minutes after i enabled it and since then it hasn't worked. Anybody think they have a solution?

Activate highlights in game in graphics options, then when you start a round it will ask if you want it to save highlights, click yes.

How it should work is that whenever something happens (you get a knockout, death, double kill, win etc) it will show at the top right "x recorded" then at the end of the match, you will get a popup showing the highlights recorded from the game, and you can save them to gallery, or share them to facebook or YouTube. You don't need to do anything for this except enabling it in the options menu for the game.

If this doesn't happen, there's an issue. First thing I would try is to disable it, then close your game. Open it again and re-enable it and restart your game. Iff that doens't work I would tweet @PUBG_Help
