Alright then, switching to 5:1 config
Looting quietly as possible is key to survival in this game. Especially after the first few minutes of the round starting. If you're running around full sprint in buildings people can hear you 4 buildings or more away. And they will ambush you for your lootables.
I'm mean take landing in pochinki as an example. After the initial gun fights, and when there are only 4-5 people left in town creeping around, I must break up my looting with periods of listening. In otherwords I stop go stop go stop go, mixed in with some crouch creeping. So I can hear people coming in and out of my vicinity.
Bottom line, is you would need to compromise and slow your looting down in this situation, so that people are less likely to creep on you unnoticed.
I play solo NA on FPP perspective only.
How unrealistic!
Personally, irl, I hear distant objects far better than I hear something moving directly next to me...
Goto youtube, theres instructions on how to run live sound compression to improve the dynamic range.
Just use Stereo. And hope in the future they make the game much more compatable with 7.1
