Intels line definitely beat the FX processor line but that is last generation. AMD's current line is on par with and in most cases beating Intel's prices, and core/thread count. Still abit behind in single threaded heavy games and the I7 7700k.
Fact is if you go through 20 channelss, or major pc gaming and hardware websites, you will see the same thing. Buy i7700k for best gaming performance, even though its just by 5-15% in some cases. Buy Ryzen for everything else, except buy the G4560 for extreme budget builds. Because there is nothing AMD has to compete in that market until the Ryzen 3 launches then we have to wait for benchmarks.
Intel has its pros and cons, Ryzen has its pros and cons but no one seems to be able to think in that way, only '' Intel is better '' '' Ryzen is better ''.
false the 6950x beats amd hands down except price, amd has nothing on intel.
I'd have wished myself a 1700X over 6700k/7700k if the lineup could more reliably perform above 4ghz.

false ryzen isnt for gaming and doesnt singlecore very well.
