Sound is a huge part of this game. Often times, it is the only way to know where your enemies are. Even if there is an option for turning on 360 degree sound, you wouldn't want to. If you hear a gunshot, wouldn't you want to know where is came from?

i have 150 $ head phones.
i give you an example:
i am in a house and a car is driving DIRECTLY towards me.
I can hear the car sound.
Now I am turning with alt 180° and i CANT hear anything.
Is there a way to hear 360° sound, so a way to hear in front of me and behind me?

go to ebay buy headphones . you can get cheap 7.1 heaphones and your problem is solved !!! why would you even want to play on external speakers? get headphones and turn sound up till your ears bleed . also gives you an excuse to ignore yer wumin . sorry doll couldnt hear you headphones on

Based on a lot of reccomendations I invested in a pair of HyperX Cloud 2 Headphones. WOW! You need to make sure the 7.1 button is pressed but it makes an amazing difference! I could hear someone walking on the floorboards above me.

its a bug in the game. When the sound comes from behind i cant hear anything and i have the logitech g430 it doesnt matter if i turn on the fake 7.1 or not. no sound if it is from behind. Doesnt matter if a guy runs towards me or a red zone goes of and ♥♥♥♥ explodes. Nothing nada. As soon as i turn the camera slightly over there i can hear it.

Are you talking about listening position? I have no problems on my Plantronics Gamecom788's 7.1 positioning is crystal clear

This would need to be something you do through Windows, or a sound manager application if you installed one, like realtek or razer surround. Most sound managers will also expose their settings within Windows as well. If you right-click the little speaker icon in your system tray, choose playback devices. In here you will see all your audio devices. Select the one in question and choose Configure on the bottom left. This will open the configuration manager where you can select the speaker configuration. If this in at 5.1 or 7.1, select stereo. If the head phones use spatial software, these options should be under the Properties view.

Sounds like your sound settings are completely wrong. I've got cheap headphones and I hear 360 just fine.

Go into your game, OS, and sound driver settings and make sure they're not screwed up somehow.
iShadowLTu Jun 17, 2017 @ 5:27pm
Go into Playback Devices through your Windows, select your headphones, go into Configure and make sure it's Stereo.
