What does the hit points score mean?
Sometimes I finish a game with 13 kills and 100 points, other times I have 50 but only shot one player without killing or them having the opportunity to heal. I fail to see a pattern?

We would, at this point, prefer to not reveal everything behind the score rating. This to avoid people aiming for this or that in the match. I can tell you, however, killing a player rewards you with 20 points.

Hit points are damage you deal, from what I can tell so far gathered from forums and ingame, every 1 point = 5 damage.

Furthermore to this I believe it is could be calculated on the amount of armour worn by an enemy and where on the body you hit them. So Damage Points + Armour value + Body hit location = Total Hit point score.

So you're more likely to get a better score if you kill someone with 3 shots wearing level 3 chest armour than if you were to directly headshot someone without a helmet. I've done a Basic Table here on how it might work, although points shown would be additional to the base 1 point per 5 damage score, and not actually representative of actual score you might get.

Armour Score (Per hit not damage)

No Armour - 1pt
Lvl 1 - 2pts
Lvl 2 - 3pts
Lvl 3 - 4pts

Body location Score (Per hit not damage)

Arms/legs - 1pt
Lower Torso - 2pts
Upper Torso - 3pts
Head - 4pts

Kill - 20pts

So if you're wanting big points. You can work it out from a number of combinations. But with all 3 combined (Damage Points + Armour value + Body hit location = Total Hit point score) The maxium score you can get for say an outright headshot to an enemy at base 100hp wearing no helmet would be a score of 25. But a level 3 upper torso shot with 3 shots to kill would be 41 pts.. and so on.

Edit: Made this more confusing than I intended. But it sorta works.

I see what you guys are saying, I thought it was something similar. Maybe there are simply a few glitches with it at the moment which throw me.

I have a screenshot that says otherwise. (4 kills, only 60 Kill Points, 72 Hit Points)

Yes, but some of those you killed probably didnt have full health, therefor you didnt get 20p each. 20 points is only if you kill from full health.

So i played a duo with a friend and i did 207 Hit points and had 11 kills, all but 2 of which were completely mine with the other two being a finish off with vehicle explosion and the other getting a kill after i had put 3 m16 bullets into the last guy who had lvl 2 helmet and what id assume was a lvl 3 vest.
He ended up with 224 Hit points despite only getting one kill that whole game at the very end on the last guy.

Post game i checked my stats and of the 1 game shown, i had done 1,155 Damage dealt and he had only done 422. So im not sure if their is any direct correlation with hit score and actually hitting people/getting kills.
