Need advice on Zeroing Distances
The past few rounds I was experimenting with changing the zero distance on my rifles to see if that has any effect. In theory I know this is to help me sight better at longer ranges, but in practice I'm not seeing much of a practical difference whether I have my M16 sighted at 100m or 400m on this map. It's also hard to tell in the field how far targets are to require adjusting to a longer range.

Does anyone have recommendations on this?

The map tells you distance, Big square is 1km long, small squares are 100m long. Find the target, check location on map, zero appropriatly. This works better in duo or squad with someone spotting the distance for you.

dont adjust zeroing because bulletdrop isnt properly in the game yet. keep it at 100 regardless of distance.

100 meters is very far, you probably won't need to set it for 200 unless you have a sniper, and anything over that is really overkill. iirc the distance from one edge of spawn island all the way to the other is like 150-200, so use that to judge distance, check your map next time you spawn into a game

i dont consider 100m very far as i've hit many 700+ in dayz/arma 3 with sniper rifles. but ya bullet drop is weird in this game compared to arma3, dayz. Definitely seems off and i don't even know if zeroing works, i was doing it at first but ya now i dont bother zeroing just aim a little high if the bullet drops low

Just don't mess with it, go with your gut, after a couple shots yo will learn it :)
That's the new way to accomplish something, by yourself
