Names in kill cam

Why does the kill/death{?} cam show where everyone is on the map?

they made so you can see enemies positions better. notice how on minimap you see them too
and also you see which direction they look and shoot indicated by a dotted white line... those
are all features made so you can better understand what was going on

yes everything is made so you can see when he snaps on target through walls etc etc
they even made a dotted white line on minimap that flashes to show when/where they shoot
edit: keep in mind though the deathcam was never 100% accurate... crosshair-placement and recoil are way off sometimes

well this one showed the guy aiming at my name as he crept up on the window he shot out of to shoot in the window my back was to, the instant he had a clear shot, so...

My first thought was the game can't possibly be showing me the hack he's using lol

Just to be clear you cant see what the other player is seeing. The deathcam and replay is just a recreation of the game based on packet info. Its not like a video recording.

You are only seeing from his prospective in a recreation. So if he is using hacks like ESP you will not see them on your screen. But based on the players actions you can sort of work out if he is hacking.

Here is a video of a hacker that i recorded. The players outlined behind a wall is me and my friend. The outline is part of pubg replay system. I forget the key to activate it but i think its "X" Check out how he keeps following use.

Ya, I know what hacks look like, that is why it freaked me a bit to see names and such.

This is one of the reasons I don't play pubg much. The most popular BR is also the most heavily hacked.
