Im from australia and cant find a game and im locked to NA region.. havent played in like 2 years so have no idea what hell happened to this game but is anyone from australia here and know how to find a server...

I am in Oz, QLD. Region lock has been in place for some time., but all I get is South east Asia, mainly chinese, philippines, or indonesia. I can not remember the last time i played with a English speaking person.
Locked into these Asian servers I notice pretty much 90% of them run macros or ESP.
A full long burst from a AK at 100 metres to the face, come on.

mate this is what has happened.

us aussies boycott the game due too the influx of chinese too our servers, they came with ESP, aim bots, damage modifiers, speed hacks, the ability too pass through terrain etc etc etc and team killing squad mates for their loot, the list goes on... we also boycott the game due too the fact that they were only adding PAID content such as visual skins and dancing/emotes, and then there was that bug they introduced which prevented all OCE players from accessing our servers for roughly 3 months, which sent us away, so our server population took a hit, on top of that, we as a region spend the least amount of money on the new cosmetics, and we also have the smallest hacking population in the game (which means less bans and new game purchases) so too bluehole we are not sustainable when it comes too income from the game, therefore our servers got put on 'standby' until enough of us were trying to play at one time too sustain OCE servers. by doing this it lowered the cost of our region too the company.

our servers are not opened up until 'peak' times in the evenings now, and we are only able too access TPP (bluehole thinks our entire population is 12 like the fortnight player base and loves playing TPP only).

all this means, we are forced too play in AS or SEA until enough OCE people are trying to connect too the servers.

chinese players are using VPN's too get onto the game, which means, regardless of what measures the developers put into place, the chinese can play on what ever servers they like.

if the developers put hardware bans into play, they would loose a large chunk of their income from banning players who then go out and buy a new copy of the game.

the way too fix this huge problem is too:

- remove real world money value from skins
- remove trading skins altogether
- start hardware banning cheaters, or not inform them that they have been caught, and put all cheaters into one playing pool on servers of their own (minimal set of servers, forcing large wait times would be preferable, too reduce costs and increase punishment)


think about this for a second, if they had 6 servers running every hour for FPP, that would allow us too have a game every 5-10mins, and allowing more servers too open up when the peak times start happening, increasing server numbers too match the amount of players trying too join at peak times.


this has been an issue for over 12 months now as a whole.

once they release the F2P lite version of pubg in australia, we can go too the ACCC and force them too do something about it, as we the OCE player base, have paid for content that is being blocked by the very people we paid for it. thus it will be breaking our laws, then and only then can we do something about it. until then we are being shat on and are being force too deal with it.

this is the main reason APEX has jumped too where it is. it does not have these issues in the OCE region as of this time.

oh i forgot too mention, every time these wankers release a patch they often break something that was not broken before. frustrating.
