State of Cheating in PUBG

now im fully aware of the developers region locking situation as being probably the main catalyst for this. but lately im seeing (since the massive ban waves) an influx of not aim hacking cheaters, but more esp/wall cheat sorta stuff. and its really annoying, like sitting in full ghillie camo in a bush just to test it out, i sat inside this bush for around 10-15 mins (fully prone) and i refused to shoot anyone i saw, and i had around 3-4 players run right over the top of me each time i tried this, but then there was always this one guy who would just run up, stop about 60-70ft away, instant kill me, and then keep on running, with zero indication i was there, i tested this multiple times over the course of 10 games, and i ended up dying 8 times the exact way specified above, that means that for a discustingly generous statistic, there is at least ONE cheater, in 7/10 games. thats a 70% confirm rate for a hacker your game, thats just one, not including the rough 3-4 other hackers you get per match (this is asian servers btw, since OCE has no players, we got region locked with all the chinga chonga's) something needs to be done, or at least let players outside of SEA/AS area's choose their matchmaking server, we asked over 7 months ago for a region lock on the area's where the hackers were coming from (china/asia/korea/japan) what we didnt ask for is for the devs to take a massive slice of the pubg community being the oceanic people. and stuffing them into the hacking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with no chance or option to escape it just because you guys were too lazy to spend a bit more time developing a more complex server selection system.

so whats the deal with oceanic servers right now? i stopped playing when the servers were broken and am wondering if its even worth reinstalling

OC servers don't exist, I'm from NZ and your forced to play either AS or SEA servers there is no option just depends on que times. Honestly I'd rather the 200 ping on NA severs cos the SEA and AS servers are absolutely infested with cheaters. Honestly my first game on SEA had 4x teamers and pretty much every game since has had multipal people ESP haxing or botting or both even to the point where you actually just get hit through objects. Its a pitty Asians are unable to compete if they had a ounce of skill they wouldn't need cheats.

Oh, man. Wanna be really mad? Spectate those guys on your replay.

Turn on "X-ray". You'll see they literally run in a straight line from player-to-player. You can even watch as they spot people around them without line of sight. They'll sit in rooms without windows, and turn 360°. Centering their view on every opponent around them as they spin.

Yeah, it's completely beyond belief until you test it. Then you realize that the number of people using cheats like that makes stealth completely nonviable.

I do want to note, however, that for your test to be as accurate as possible... You also need to have clothing that allows you to blend with the bushes. As well as dropping/avoiding weapons and using no backpack for the smallest possible profile. Otherwise there's a chance they legitimately saw a small part of you sticking out.

NA servers have their cheaters too, have noticed players spawning in with mk-14s, and grozas. You don't get those two weapons 30 seconds out of a plane.

yes that is true, but its at such a massive level in the AS servers.

yeah its pretty discusting, when we ( the majority of the PUBG community) asked for a region lock ONLY on asian and South east asian servers, the dev team of pubg said that the people behind this request were a small group of racist alt right people, not wanting to engage with other races in the online community. LOL get a load of that.

it is quite bad, but there are some games where you can have some fun, my way of countering the problem is to run squads or duo's, because mainly there is only 1 cheater in the enemy squad or duo, and most of the other asian players are total bots, so 8/10 times your usually able to overcome a hacking team, by killing their bot players instantly, then ganging up on the cheater in a 2v1 or 4v1 rush. in which case we almost always win, but their have been occasions where the hacker in question has just toggled aimbot outright and wiped us. but doing a stunt like that is one of the few things that will get you banned.

yeah but theres nowhere near as many on NA as their is in the Asian area, and us poor aussies and kiwi's are stuck in this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Matchmaking pool with all the hackers.

The really stupid ones can be entertaining, using either grass or a bush lie prone in a shaded area of a map (Winter map is the best for this). They run straight at you and over shoot the position, turn around and again over run the position. Had one do it several times - then got on voice calling ME a hacker for hiding under the map, Killing him didn't even seem fair. (Did a report - nothing)

In OCE region, but all recent matches are on Asian servers. Tend to get runs of problem games - Sanhok is basically impossible once you get to the last 10. Then runs of decent games in terms of possible cheaters. But personally last 5 days has been really good. Only issue has been players who don't seem to take much damage even with several hits. Had a 1.06% damage on one game (that is 1.06 out of a 100), what did i hit - chipped their finger nail or something. Hit a player with a M24 twice from under 100m - 24% total damage. Wish I knew if the issue is hackers or Lag

the ping is what makes shots not register, and yea sanhok is just cancer, once you get to top 10, theres always some asian that toggles wall hacks because of his coin slot eyes, he cant see ♥♥♥♥ in the grass.

they are also buffing body shots from snipers. since it takes 3-4 body hits from a kar98 to kill someone at long range, and its like 3ish as well with an m24, only gun that hurts to the body is the awm

Yeah i dont know if its some cheat or ping but i shot a guy 3 time with a AWM and it dint drop him. Like everyone is aware of, its always players you could blindfold with a shoe lace who are the culprits.

Watch the replay and follow him see how much damage on his health bar, I come across that in replays after you blaze someone and they 180 HS you I've unloaded 4 or 5 shots on guys and they still had 90% health left. Dirty gamers really the half blind dogs.
