enable the 144hz in the monitor settings
enable 144hz in your nvidia control panel (I don't know how to do it on AMD)
manage 3d settings --> "preferred refresh rate"
enable 144hz in windows right click desktop --> display --> advanced display settings --> display adapter properties --> monitor --> screen refresh rate you should see 144hz on the list
if you DO NOT see 144hz then what cable are you using to connect your PC to the display? (I don't know too much about this area, other than support for 144hz varies. I am using a Display Port to connect my benq XL2411P 144hz monitor to my PC.)
120 fps at 144hz are real 120fps. :)
-refresh 144
if it says 144hz then ur 144hz is working
turn on in-game fps counter
run pubg
go tosettings
turn VSYNC ON
if you see 144 fps on your screen then you are on 144 hz
