HI ADVANCED,
Am i dropping at the wrong places ? i dont ever drop at bootcamp but i don't really struggle my fps are at 55 all the time at least they are every time i look at the afterburner OSD
How long does this struggle seem to last for some people ?
Paws what i5 do you have ?
Maybe struggle is a little harsh of a word to use, because its still certainly playable. You do notice the FPS hit once you break the cloud layer with an I5 though VS an I7 as all cores on the I5 usually reach 100% usage.
Resolution scale 120?? Doesn't that put extra load on your system while not displaying anything useful? Isn't that past what your resolution will show? I've deleted windows photo app, I'm well aware of how laggy that program is. Takes 12 seconds to load a single photo. I didn't realize it ran in the background. Thanks for the tip.
I have an I5-7500 in another PC, Im pretty sure I disabled Gamebar and Xbox crap but I will have to double check. Its paired with a 1050ti and the first couple seconds after landing can be kinda rough, but after that it smooths out. Thats at all high settings except Shadows and Post Processing...both of those are low.
Thx you know what I am going to take a closer look I am curious now
the way some people were going on it sounded as if there framerates were collapsing down to say 15fps
If you want the very beginning of the game to be super smooth its very complete system dependent. The initial jump and landing really stress all components. Then 30 people die in 10 seconds and it becomes more GPU dependent. Then at the end in a small circle depending on how many players left it becomes CPU dependent again.
Great insight..... THANKS
