How do people enjoy this trash?

Never bought pubg because it looked trash, but boy was I in for a suprise. Everything Ultra and it looks like it came straight out of 1999. It runs horrible and the gunplay is laughable at best. Battle Royale is horrible in any game so wanted to try the new modes, so badly done compared to Fortnite. It must suck knowing that your game is so much inferior to Fortnite, I bet it really does suck for these devs. Terrible game just like Ark.

^ RTX 2080, 3440x1440, 60% usage yet huge lag spikes. Only in PUBG of course. And it looks like games on my xbox360 ffs.

Your 1080 most likely plays on 1080p from 1999 which is simply unacceptable today. I provided a screenshot. It's trash. Battlefield runs like a dream. This game does not. It's Fortnite but worse. But I'ms ure everybody knows. 250k players vs 8.5M lmfao.

I use a 1070 on 2560x1440 with maximum screen scale and ultra.
I get 100-144 (My cap) consistently.

i run this game with out any problems due too hardware and or software, the game itself does have major issues that the dev's are too stupid too fix even though there are 100's too 1000's of people posting all over the internet about it. in saying that, i still think the issue is on your end though.

the RTX range of cards are not working well with many games, as most of the current games that are on the market were made too run with different style of cards on different drivers.
