Blue Screen every time I try to start PUBG. Error Code 'Kernel Security Check Failure'
I have tried literally everything I can and nothing has worked. I even factory reset my pc, wiping all drives and the issue persists.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Kernel security check failure

The kernel security check failure happens due to: Memory problems. Outdated drivers. Viruses. Corrupted Windows system files. Security programs.

update drivers, and reset your bios to default, and last resort is to reinstall windows, you could be out of memory drivers are out of date major virus's ect

Buy more ram buddy

So you reckon 16GB isnt enough? :p
Nah I managed to fix it by unplugging my wheel and pedals that I use for simracing. I guess the software of those interfered with the drivers pubg uses.

Yessir exactly! And Yes I have got a Fanatec V2.5, weird that those drivers seem to interfer with the ones pubg uses. Anyways, glad that’s fixed it!

I came to this community to page to literally post the same exact thing you did. Kept getting the Kernel error ONLY on PUBG and nothing else. I uninstall PUBG, drivers, reset my PC and then I noticed it happened only when I played iRacing and then started PUBG after. This has been happening to me the last 2-3 weeks and my RAM was fine. I bet this is an issue that a lot of sim racers/flight simulator players are having and that is why it is hard to find any information. Glad I finally found your post. When I am not racing normally just my pedals are plugged in and not my wheel, but I guess that would do it. You fixed it by just leaving your wheel/pedals unplugged? Also out of curiousty do you have a Fanatec wheel?

Yep I've started PUBG roughly 5-6 times since reading your post and haven't had an issue since. I think the issue is strictly with Fanatec drivers and I'm wondering how many people are dealing with this that couldn't find your post or a simliar one. I may post something.

Thanks again.

Ay your welcome brother! Enjoy :)

I've found a fix for this.

- Update all your drivers.
- Uninstall or disable expired Anti-virus software.
- Copy and paste the below in launch options for the game.
(-malloc=system +mat_antialias 0 window -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4)

This helped me.

This is nonsense, these runtime arguments never worked for PUBG, why do idiots keep repeating things they don't understand?

you mean the launch options? yes they worked at one point why you think people
still sharing them!? most of them are now implemented into the game itself but still
YOU are the person that does not seem to understand

pull ur cmos battery from your motherboard. completely factory reset it... ur cpu or memory could be going bad. I had a 7850 FX crap out on me when playing this game.. its very cpu intensive and if not properly cooled ull keep crashing

If you're still getting this you can thank Battleye for the trash it is. Try this, works for me everytime:

1.) Close Steam completely, exit and make sure it's not running in the background.
2.) Browse PUBG folder and launch "TslGame_BE.exe", this will launch PUBG and then come to a point to exit (since it's not running with DRM / Steam / Battleye.
3.) Open Steam again and launch as normal from your games.
4.) Should see the normal PUBG screens launch and game come to the main menu.

Again not sure the issue other than Battleye is a piece of crap. I swapped my 2080 Ti in my eGPU setup on my MacBook Pro 15 to a Radeon VII and now this is the only way to launch PUBG. All other 30+ games, VR, etc. work no issues. I assume it's something with loading executable in memory, something funky with swapping my GPU's maybe timing doesn't match on memory load throwing kernel error who knows.
