*FIXED* PUBG crashes every game - 1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired every time.

After the game crashes I will verify intergity of game, every time it gives me the message "1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired" it then aquires the file, says all files are good, I launch the game, it crashes mid game, I will verify again and it gives me the same message.. every time. What is the file that keeps getting corrupterd? How can I fix this.

You have to find the additional files and delete them from my documents or wherever they are. There's a guide somewhere.

FOR ME, I was crashing on startup too and all i did was go to #:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64 and delete "TslGame.exe" then did the "verify integrity of game" and the game was able to start without crashing. May not work for all.

I solved this problem by unzip the files that related with pubg in my C disk，because my pc zip some files in C disk to save room for the system,so i think u can also try this way.

Had this today, been a while a go i played last... Never had crash issues at all in the past... Now it crash all the time when i enter games... I also tried verifying files, replacing the 1 file, dident fix anything

You should reinstall to exclude issues with the game data of PUBG.
I also do it all the time after one big update.

Uninstall/reinstall PUBG
Sometimes issues occur where files are corrupted, permissions aren’t set correctly, or certain aspects of the game aren’t installed correctly. To fix this we need to completely uninstall PUBG and associated files.



1 Uninstall PUBG

Go to your Steam library
Right Click on PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS and select Uninstall
A windows will pop up asking for confirmation, click on Delete

2 Remove associated files

Press Windows Key+R
Type in %localappdata% and then press Enter or OK
Delete the folder TslGame
Navigate to Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye and delete the file BEService_pubg.exe
Navigate to Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common and delete the folder PUBG
In Steam go to Settings>Downloads and click on CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE
Restart Steam

3 Reinstall PUBG

It is still the case even today. My game used to crash but now it doesn't (probably was a driver issue) But even after 1 match (any length) It always finds 1 file missing. Even after training mode that is the case. If needed, I shall also state that my game is installed on an m.2 ssd that only has windows 10, steam, msi afterburner and PUBG ect.. no other games are installed on that drive.

That is a known issue. You can ignore the 1 file. It doesn't mean anything. ;)

We all have that and it's a known issue, so you can ignore it.
It doesn't mean something is broke.
