how many tick is pubg currently ?
I pressed double time 1 to change weapon, because it doesn't react, they i missed 2 kills, before someone dissappeared in corner, i feel less input lag, but perfomance is still bad. Three or four days ago, i shooted at the start someone to the head from 1 m with 1911 and he didn't die.
I don't buy this we are doing something for this game to run better on your computer.
16 tick... planetside 2 servers run 60tick/per second. Don't appologize, that there is a lot of players. People will jump to next br, like fortress or how that trash calls, just because they get upset with current corporation. Today games sucks, i was able to play cs go on 144fps min on single core today i have drops under 100fps and in starcraft i had 60fps min on low nowadays i have 20. Companies will say it is expensive to release patch, while getting your money for micro transactions at the same time. Cs go for example is supposed run on 8 years old computer and graphics didn't changed, i don't know what devs are doing with these games. And i like what is bluehole doing now, but it is already 2 years after realese, like 1 m players went to fortnite and they will abandon fornite, when its devs will something ♥♥♥♥ up and will jump to next br game...

It's not just tickrate which affects how the servers are, It's how the information is sent from client>server>client. So even with 100hz servers the same issues would be present just with how the unreal engine and the net code bluehole is using to transmit data. Right now alot of the calculations are done client side which then updates the server, that then sends the info onto other players client. Causing alot of the desync we experience, Also having no ping lock so players exceeding 80ms pings or players with unstable connections just makes everything else more questionable. Bluehole have openly admitted they haven't figured out the best way to send data between client>server>client. Will they be able cure it? who knows, But one thing we know is it is getting worse with every big update they do.

lol sry but did you watch the video ?

Clearly to see that your statement about "its getting worst" is not true.

And yes they will and can fix this. We are already use the same version of engine as on the release of the early access. Epic did not share the extension of the ue4 for now, but im sure they will do this.

If not bluehole have to improve the engine by them self but the potential is huge.

Clearly you didn't listen, from the 5 minute mark he explains everything i just said. He also did this video not long after the update when the servers are at their best. After 2600 hours i would of thought you know the servers degrading after around 1-2 weeks from patch day. This has happened since EA and hasn't changed yet.

Not enough tick.

It doesnt matter.... The point of you was "But one thing we know is it is getting worse with every big update they do"

And this isnt true at all. They had change the system where the updates are only one or two days on the server. Now they are test the updates one week to improve the quality.

The server are a problem it self so that they gona switch the provider.

Btw the fix pubg thing had just start yet.

I wish you could set ping limit like in cs go.

The delays between clients is the real issue here. Its double to triple that of most other shooters still. Its why you see a ton of damage/death behind cover. They would be better off with 30hz and a much better netcode. The 60hz doesnt do any good when netcode is this sloppy still. Its in their hands though as we have seen what Fortnite can do with only 30hz. They have half the delays already. So Bluehole needs to figure out something more than just raising the tickrate to try to cover the bigger issues.

I already know about the server switch, Even with new servers that isn't going to change how they handle the data, And yes the desync has got worse since each patch, Leading upto 1.0 was poor, then followed 1.0 and it was terrible and we had that whole period right up until june where desync was at it's worst, Then they dropped a patch mid july which cleaned up the game a fair amount until they changed how chunks of data was sent and has introduced a host of more desync issues with ghost weapons. They have cleaned up early game a small amount but now the desync is still present until the last few teams are left. Even with #fixpubg that doesn't mean anything will actually get fixed, If we look at the patches that have come before where bugs was introduced then fixed and a new patch dropped which brought back the array of bugs that was origionally fixed.
I hope they can fix it, but right now we can only hope they can. Will they? who knows until we see some meaningful network updates.

30 tickrate. use google and download program > it show u ping, and loss and rates
Billy Mustang Sep 3, 2018 @ 11:05am
I am very skeptic about that. People will just jump to the next br game, i am want to see when people abandom fortnite and jump to next br game. Today companies handle their games very poorly and don't listen to community. H1Z1 issue, i coudn't log in like 3 months and coudn't even reach support. I don't remember, what else it was with H1Z1, or blizzard handling owerwatch very poorly. Fortnine won't last forver, it is only matter of time until they will ♥♥♥♥ up the game with some patch, or how they are handling their game, or ignoring community. They already have your money for the game - problem with the early access, they arleady have your money. Previously, game had to be released, they had actually had to make game good to play, for it to be sold. You are putting money to something, you don't know essentialy how will end up, there are various early access games, being unfinished after 2 years, or nothing is being added to the game. Or ea with battlefield they say patch is to expensive and than after 8 months release, it doesn't change anything, or make game even worse. Full game doesn't neccesarily save you, or call of duty, they are get away with spamming same crap all over again and promised better perfomance, or free of cheats my ass...

I'm not saying Epic games is a great example of leadership in the gaming community but one thing they have shown is they are fair, And will not just charge you for something that's broken and then leave you out of pocket. Look at that game Paragon they was developing that people purchased, they realised that not enough interest was gained so they refunded everyone the money they paid. Not many developers would have done that, Just look at the vast amount of EarlyAcess games on steam that have been abandoned by devs who needed a quick buck. Epic have more too lose than most as they develope the unreal engine, They aren't just going to release a broken project then ignore all the developers in the process when they earn money from succesful titles from their engine. So it's in their interest to listen and work along side the community. I hate fortnite but you can't place epic with other developers.
