Game crash while my ryzen CPU is overclocked

Hello everyone, since 1.0 came out i had experienced many crashes, based on hardware side or game side, in this case i am having crashes before getting to lobby after PUBG logo, ONLY when i have my ryzen 1600 cpu overclocked, no matter what the overclock is it wont work, only base standard CMOS / BIOS options will boot to the game.

I tried many OC's +200mhz +400 +600 (all working good and stable in other games or benchmarks and cinebench app) even stock turbo that oc's 200mhz+ does the game crash before getting to the lobby.

for now i am playing with an old gpu, since i am buying my pc for parts, i will get a brand new in a month or so... but still everything in low on sanhok for example i get a constant 60+ fps but i see some teering or lag in terms of fps.

What do you recommend me to do? how can i get my OC run with the game? since in other games i see a really good boost, i want to play with that +600mhz in the cpu, please help me!

Ryzen 1800X (3,8GHz) here (+580 8GB), no problem whatsoever, it runs like silk.

Ram on full speed ? OC or not ? Try the ram on STOCK and the cpu on OC

Pure bs.. there is close to no difference between intel and amd top "gamer" cpu's and this comes from an intel fanboy. Yes there is some advantage about 10-20% in some games at 720p. But who buys this kind of cpu's to play in 720p? At at least 1440p there is zero difference because even a 1080ti bottlenecks. 1-5fps more or less doesnt even matter

Again yes i7-8700k is better. I own one myself but the difference is not this big. Its not like you say intel is for gaming and amd not. Amd right now is a good solution compare to intel

Well maybe thats not your issue then. Although they dev says it is.
Have you tried without the OC? Its not like its needed.

Maybe you just have a software conflict with the game.
Open task manager, startup, disable all programs. Test game.

Well the first time i tried this i had to restart my pc and it just not boting (was another bios), with this and with the hpet off i can manually overclock from the app, yes it works, lol 3900mhz in game menu, but it just wont find any match, idk if this is because of something i change or just the game servers are down or something, thanks for that recommendation

wow why you hating bro? this cpu works flawless at that freq in any other game, no problem in stress tests, and works with a great performance... good temperatures on stock cooler and great price. why you enter in a random thread to hate? it's obvious, not a problem of my ryzen, it's a game issue... i do also have intel, i am not a fan boy or hater... i just play videogames.

Ryzen do have a few great chips .. There is a known issue with AMD builds tho and the have posted a fix in the official forums ..

Use VSR 4x, use ultra/high settings and think you have many fps. Then go back to your settings and i bet its not fine anymore :)

I think you missed my point.. First off that's not my main gaming rig. It's a htpc and yes it runs the game fine.. Is it as fast as my 8700K ,, Nope .. But it runs without crashing. People that say amd is junk is a matter of opinion and 90% of them are just trend followers and fan boys .. AMD has some great products as well as intel..

I have run pubg on many pc's not all of them great but they can run it..

For my part i cant wait for i9-9900k release.

When I bought the 8700K a few months back I was very close to getting the 2700X .. Looks like a great chip, but I will never use the best features of it for just a gaming PC as I don't stream or do much in the way of editing / coding ..

AMD has come a long way.. I also have a 512bit 290X 8GB that seems to even keep up to my 1070SC..

Ryzen all the way here but its a sad fact that games seem to be built around Intel with AMD optimisation almost an afterthought :(
Take the last patch for instance, how bad is it that you have to turn smt off to just to bloody play it, that and the fact that i have to run my RAM at stock because PUBG doesnt like the OC....... EVERY other game on the planet i can play fine for 6 plus hours with the RAM oc`ed but not this turd of a game............
