Matchmaking delay.

Has anyone heard anything from the devs about the increasing delays with the matchmaking? i remeber not too long ago the wait was barely 1 min and now it says estimated wait 2 min but even waiting 30 min and still no match.

hey devs can we get an update as to why this might be happening?

i do enjoy this game but not to the point of waiting to get in a match longer then the match actually lasts.

That's the major rub I have with this game. Takes too damn long to get playing. My wait time was listed as 7:45 but I never did connect in 20 minutes. I even tried the old stand-by trick of reloading the lobby screen and trying again. It should't take more than 10 seconds from the time I connect to the time I'm flying in the drop plane. Waiting around is absurd. Your last sentence sums it up to a tee.

Even once there are 100 players in a lobby there's a 1:00 wait before the plane flies. WHY? Just go already dammit! lol.

that 1 min wait AFTER theres 100 players in a match dosent bother me so much. its the rediculously long wait to actually get a match thats getting on my nerves. theres no reason the wait should be this long. obviously theres something wrong with the servers and match making system after the last couple of updates that they seriously need to address and fix before adding anything else.

no matter what new stuff they add, if players cant even get in a match then no ones going to care what they added becasue THEY CANT ACCESS IT!!

NA OC servers are empty compared to EU and asia... since your from UK you shoul have
24/7 not more then 10 second queue time... at least that is for friend and me... so it can be the known bug which you can "fix" just by reset the lobby and/or restart the search for a map...
i remember in one of the last patches they where talking about that "bug"... OR at the moment you wanted to play your internet was f**** and the match-maker gave you a verry low queue priority due to low ping... id say nothing you have to worry about since it cant be permanent problem unless there could be something wrong on your side...

I think it's about the ranking algorithem. Just because there are 100 players wanting to play, doesnt mean that there are 100 players in your skill/rank level available. Part of making the ranking system credible is not allowing advanced players to slaughter noobs for rank points. I usually have to wait about 20 min for a game in Erangol.

I have a book specifically for PUBG, and I read up to 1 chapter while waiting. When done, I do a set of pushups, then I clean the room I am in. Better yourself while you wait. Don't be a lazy poon.

You are wrong. This is misinformation. Good players with decent ranks cannot just 'restart lobby' to find a game in Battle Royal. The better you get, the harder it becomes to find a balanced pre-game lobby. The only "fix" is for the devs to change the pregame rank filtering, which they shouldn't do. This is not CoD, and we actually need LESS impatient players to make the game a better game for everyone.

24/7 under 10 seconds...

EU / TPP / Solo/Duo/squad and map does not matter if set to all or just one...
FPP can be littlebit longer but also under 1min.. i usualy rank between platin and diamond
at pubg.op.gg... if your from EU you doing something wrong...

Sure. I recieved a wizard's cap from a Samurai that rode a dragon. I really hope to play you someday... but, I wont - because you will never be ranked high enough to get in a lobby with me. But, hey, thanks for contributing nothing to this conversation. We already know that poor players can find games 24/7. BTW, you can check your legit rank in the menu screen, in case you are blind and cannot read. Mine says "SOLO , NA, Rank 941"... it was higher yesturday, but I had a bad game. Enjoy your 64% ranking class.

My wait times went from 20 seconds to 2-5 minutes overnight with the new patch and my games are starting with lilke 50 players. Every mode and map combo seems to have the same or worse. I'm confused and I haven't seen a lot of posts about it yet. Anyone else have the same issue?

why are you so salty Oo what did i say... i just sayed my matching conditions... and i just say pubg.op cause they have your "legit" ranks... they receive it from blueholes servers... its even more qccurate then ingame...

cause every gamemode and combo is more or less played... also the match maker improved over the time with still many problems it actualy works...
