PUBG Low RAM Usage
I have a feeling that there's a problem with my PC. Right now, as I'm writing this post, I have 4.7 GB RAM available (I have 8gb total). When I launch PUBG, it takes VERY VERY LONG time to load the game (at least 1 minute and up to 3minutes). When the game is loaded, when I land somewhere, the textures are not loaded and I can go through the walls and see people and items through the walls, it takes 1-20 seconds to load everything and the fps drops soo much while textures are loading. The game uses up to 5gb of RAM however, I watched some videos on youtube and I saw that PUBG uses up to 7GB of RAM on the other computers with 8gb ram and they don't have my problems. How can I fix this problem? Pls help.
My Laptop Specs are:
I7 6500U 2.5GHz
GTX 950M 2GB DDR3
8GB DDR3
1TB HDD
Windows 10 Home

That pc is going to struggle playing this game at all. slow cpu, the 950m gpu with little VRAM, and only 8gb of ram hurts, Its not going to be an enjoyable experience. Refund it, or play on another machine. That laptop isn't really designed for todays games.

LOL! I know but my friend has the exact same laptop but he doesn't have these problems (I forgot to say this at first).

YOU CANNOT RUN PUBG, YOUR GPU IS RUBBISH ON YOUR LAPTOP FOR THIS KIND OF GAME

Save up and buy a desktop pc with a good cpu and a good gpu

I actually get 35-50 FPS on 1920*1080 100 screen scale everything verylow. So it isn't that bad I guess.

HI PRO,

You do realise that running pubg at 1920*1080 on your graphics card is a BAD IDEA
let me explain, your GPU is literally FLOGGING ITSELF TO KEEP UP!!!!

Lower the screen resolution to say 1680 x 1050 or even 1440 x 900
Because you only have 2GB of VRAM you need to be realistic and lower your resolution

you said you actually get 35-50 FPS, what you really need is a STABLE FRAMERATE
please try running the game at a lower resolution

Also there is a NEW SETTING in pubg called FRAMERATE SMOOTHING
ENABLE this feature and see if this helps

As for your LOADING TIMES the only way too speed this up would be to get an SSD DRIVE for your laptop

Send me a reply please

I know I should pla this game at lower resolution but the problem is that on lower resolutions, seeing enemies from far away is difficult that's why I put it on 1920*1080. Before this, I used to play at 1280*720 (I put all of my games on this) and I got 50-60 FPS.
I don't know if I should get an SSD (I have 1 more internal space) because I just have to deal with this laptop for the next year. I will try the framerate smoothing and i'll lower the resolution to 1680*1050.
Thanks for sharing your opinion. I know my laptop sucks XD.

I think also the fact that the game is on the HDD, I would rather install it on SSD

I know. The disk is getting slower and slower. I'm thinking about reinstalling my windows because it used to be super fast.
