Other than that though.. i wouldn't lose too much sleep over it. You will only ever stay alive until you run into a hacker. Nearly every game, I get killed by a hacker. Anyone who says the game isn't riddled with hacks is either a hacker, stupid/ignorant, or is so bad they die to legit players and so never stay live long enough to meet one.

FPS takes a lot of hours to build up the aim/muscle memory etc.
BR takes less time to have different playstyles to match what's happening.
If both are new it would be a very steep learning curve, I'd try a pure DM shooter to up your aiming, try cs:go deathmatch vs bots then players.
Surviving and killing are interchangable in pubg, you can get far without much killing but if you want to win games you need a solid FPS game.
