PUBG server selection gone?!

So did devs just disable regional server selection from game? I get thrown to random AS and NA server with bad ping, which is really bad gaming wise and gives players from those actual regions significant advantage... if you ask me that is just bs. Make PUBG great again and re-add pre-game search, server selection to the game! I got so♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥when I realised pings were off I am not playing the game anytime soon, which begs the question why pay 30euros + any in-game purchases for a game that can't even deliver manageable pings to the player, I feel that I've been cheated

yes you are right actually from my country which in middle east i have to play with asia servers because middle east in asia
but unfortuntely the servers are very far actually and i have to stick with 200-300 ping.....
but on the other hand if i play on eu region i get 80-100 ping
this is really sad as this game is going downhill for some people and the people who came up with this idea are really stupid and lack brain!!!! like i really mean it !!
i mean HOW did they make this idea, haven't they studied the player base THERE ARE ACTUALLY SOME PEOPLE THAT CAN'T PLAY WITH REGION LOCK BECAUSE THEY WILL HAVE HIGH PING

I have almost 1000h in this game i enjoyed playing it but it's really sad to see this game like this
and now it ain't worth of my time if they don't consider the other countries that will suffer from this region lock ♥♥♥♥

People have been begging for region lock for 1 reason....we don't want to play with Chinese....no one does....

This was their solution because they didn't want to single out the one country that represents 99% of the cheaters.....

They basically hurt EVERYONE BUT the people who actually cheat cause they are all using vpns....

okay i understand but what for the other people that have to stick in ASIA !!?

and actually there are many soulation to this one !
like just make the least ping you find on servers automatically joins
like this you can make chinases stick to their servers and for some who live in asia and don't want to play in asia region because they will have high ping will be fixed for them too !!!
i don't seriously know how they didn't think of this idea

I am not sure what you mean by this? Are all european players leftovers for the company? I, for instance, am an european player and as I pointed out, forcing people to play on random different region servers puts them in significant disadvantage compared to players located closer to those regional servers. I am sure we all have our personal "what ping is just too much for me" to enjoy the game and for me that is anything above 100ping. To me personally paying good amount of money for gaming pc and equipment, having fiber connection and paying full price for a game that doesn't deliver smooth gaming experience (for random servers) seems just unbelievable for a game this big in 2018.

So what is the logic of randomly throwing players located in EU to asian or north american servers? When there actually are european servers...

I hate those damn cheaters ,but there're better ways such as blocking their mac ip.There may be 50% of chinese are cheaters, but chinese is a huge number of group they could make the damn matchmaking much faster at least. U cant just block em all

Sadly this company had no experience whatsoever....the UI devs were straight outta college, Community managers said it was OK to cheat....Devs didn't think there was a need to develope any anti-cheat or even code blocks to stop obvious cheats....the list goes on and on....


They are slowly learning but they are just now implementing things I said HAD to be done immediately more than a year ago...

Can you provide evidence for these statements or are you just parroting allegations you hear from others?

Yeahp this is breaking me now. Bring back the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ server selection!!!!!!!! I have to wait a minimum of 3 minutes in a lobby to be told that I have to join the Asian server, I couldn't care if it was the southeast asian server, but the asian server is a minimum of 200ms ping and above. This is crap, fix this game please.
