OP.GG and New Name Change

Hello all,

So i've recently changed my name but I also used to check the stats/tracking website OP.GG, but after the name change, OP.GG stopped tracking my new name. I thought the website could automatically update itself with the new name change.

I tried to twitter this also, no assistance or information found or given yet. What can I do? Any Idea?

op.gg will still update your old name even after you changed. when i tried to look into my new name it couldn't find it, but searching my old name gave me the right account and also updates my current games even with the new name.
and don't ask me why, i have no idea.

@ShadowStalker - Same thing, still updating with my old nickname but not with the new one. :/

Okay. My guess would be that the internal name (That is, the name the server knows your account by.) for your character is the same. Your new name is simply a mask that shows up differently in-game.

BlueHole probably failed to update their stat-tracking API when they added the ability to change names.

You might try reporting this on the official forums.

I have opened a ticket on PUBG official website, still no answer from them and even from @PUBG_Help in Twitter, however I got a reply from OP.GG website and they are looking into the problem.
