When is this going to stop screwing with Speedfan?
It's nutty, what other games have to break a decent piece of software for stopping "cheaters", I should put "stopping" in inverted commas cos it doesn't always work :steamsalty:

PUBG does not work with SpeedFan nor will it ever again. Neither will it with many games like Fortnite and the like. It is not a bug, they have wanted to block people who patch the games simulating SpeedFan !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MSI Afterburner you only control the GPU fan. It does not control the CPU fan or the system fans.

I have fix it. I have uninstalled SpeedFan and installed Argus Monitor. As it is shareware for 30 days. With Argus Monitor I can control the GPU fan (although I have set it by default), the CPU fan (also by default) and the best thing is that I can control the fans of the system by means of graphics associated to several sensors at the same time GPU and CPU temperature. It is perfect. In addition Argus Monitor shows many more graphs and configurations than SpeedFan. Also Argus does not give errors like in the speeds of the fans. SpeedFan showed me bad speeds of the type 65535 RPM. Argus Monitor is updated every so often and constantly adds new functionalities and new motherboard chips.

I like the idea of Argus monitor, how do I add a RunAsDate? ATM I just uninstall and reinstall speedfan when done with PUBG.

rofl use manufactures own software for ur mobo, gpu etc. basicly anything what tied up to hardware, no problems :D

The programs of the manufacturers can control the fans of CPU or GPU, but they do not usually control the fans of the system, which are the ones that matter most to me.

dont then buy cheapest products, any decent mobo got fan controllers inbuild and if thats not enough get then hardware tied up fan controller

My motherboard is MSI and its fan program is called Command Center. The program always has a bug and does not save the settings. Each time the system is started, it must be configured. It's a garbage.

The BIOS can associate CPU temperature with SYSFAN speed but that does not interest me. I'm interested in GPU temperature at SYSFAN speed.

My configuration:
BIOS: TEMP-CPU 30-60ºC --> FAN-CPU 20-100%
BIOS: TEMP-CPU 30-60ºC --> FAN-SYS 30-100%
DEFAULT: TEMP-GPU 60-80ºC --> FAN-GPU 20-100%
ARGUS: TEMP-GPU/CPU 30-60ºC --> FAN-SYS 30-100%

Just an FYI to Dx2 I use Speedfan because my motherboard is older and doesn't have any software support from manufacture to control case fans, it does however have a chip on it that can be software controlled, which Speedfan can use to make them whatever speed I want. I let the BIOS control my CPU fan speed but the case fans I like control of for myself.

as i sayed dont use crappy software based, use only hardware tied up if u dont want problems
https://www.nzxt.com/products/grid-plus-v3 <- hardware tied up controller software, that is just one example there is multiple ones from many manufactures what got all their own neat things, some are more focused for watercooled rigs, some are more focused led light show etc.

Why the hell would I want to use CAM, now that is some buggy ♥♥♥♥, it also does the same job as Speedfan, the only reason why Speedfan stops working with some Anti-Cheat is because it has Kernal access.

cleary u are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that u cant even understand what u read, i just gived one example and stated there is multiple manufactures who does hardware tied up controllers.

dosent that make then speedfan being mega piece of ♥♥♥♥ buggy software when it dont even work xD

just stop talkin when u are totally dumb, hopeless case with negative IQ

No, the reason why SpeedFan in particular is blocked is because the driver has several security flaws that can be exploited to read/write into memory undetected. Since the program isn't updated any longer (it's been well over three years since the last update), it's pretty safe to say the security problems won't ever be patched, so they blocked it.

I completely agree with you that it sucks, I used the program as well since my motherboard was a few years old and it was the best way to control the fans. Can't really blame the anti-cheat devs here though - it's the cheater's fault through and through for exploiting every little thing they can find. :steamsad:

Yes but the reason it can read/write memory undetected is because of it having Kernal access, which is the only reason it is blocked by some anti-cheat.
