PUBG didn't give me option to choose name

So I bought PUBG recently after family sharing was disabled and I couldn't play from my inactive friend's library. Usually when you launch the game for the "first" time, you get the option to create a character and give it a name, right? Well I didn't get a choice. I was given a default male character and the name "CiahKid", which is a name that I have not used in years.

My question is, would it be possible to have my name changed? Should I submit a support ticket or am I out of luck? Preferably I'd like to have my name as "CIAH", as most of my other game characters are named.

Unfortunately the name "Ciah" is already taken

You could always make a new account with random numbers for you're name. I hear that's all the craze these days.

Happened the same thing to me, I sent a support ticket on the pubg website. I'm just waiting for an answer but I doubt they will help me.

u cant changes name as far as i know.... but yes they are session when u named ur char...
