I've been using clownfish for a few months, haven't had any problems yet. Just don't abuse it?

If you try to deafen others or are a constant spammy nuisance you might want to reconsider anyway.. but I haven't seen much of anything yet to indicate that voice changing software isn't allowed.

You didn't answer my question, you're working under the assumption that A. OP is an adult B. OP Isn't using this for fun, i.e. to have a demon voice in game

A. Because the game is rated M for mature. So little Billy Rumblebug isn't allowed to play.
B. Because this is the 2nd or 3rd thread OP has made on the matter today.
Makes me think he's one of them Tumblr types.

I am giving it as an example, this much should be obvious, if I recall you were the one needing to present proof.

Playing in-game sound effects through 3rd party software would likely be considered a bannable offense, so it's potentially unsafe.. not 100% safe. However, I don't think that most normal usage of a voice changer would be considered cheating. If you're really that concerned about it and really must use it, consider finding a voice changing device to use, instead of software..?
