PUB-G Start up error. (Cannot find 'dxgi.dll', Please, re-install this apllication. (HELP)

So I haven't played pubg in a few days and went to start it up to play with some mates. It came up with an error saying my computer wasn't able to find 'dxgi.dll' I don't know what this is and or how to fix it, here are screenshots of what comes up.

What i've already tried...

- Re-install pubg. (didn't work, but somehow worked for friend)
- Download a random dxgi.dll file off the internet but had no idea how to install it.
- Restart pc.
- Verify game integrity files.

If anybody knows please help :(

same problem and test server worked recently, game already added to exceptions in avast antivirus, reshade not installed/present

Ended up uninstalling it then reinstalling it on my ssd and it started working.

Ok solved, you have to delete dxgi.dll from the folder, I later discovered that it's a dll of reshade that remained there even if I uninstalled reshade preset and canceled other related files (forgetting this one in particular. Works now.

I also have the same problem even though i don't have reshade in my pc. Pls tell me how to fix this.

Indeed it worked, have to delete the dxgi.dll file from Reshade so it won't load up with the game.

Hi, i found solution. Ok, go to common/PUBG/TslGame/Binaries/Win64/ and delete reshade-shaders folder, then delete 1.ini and delete dxgi.dll dxgi.ini dxgi.log. Done)

Next they should ban 4k monitors and limit FPS to 60. As a colorblind person Reshade did nothing for me. But I still get shot trough walls because engine can't calculate position.

Why ban 4k monitors and limit to 60 fps? The reshade problem I can understand but not this.

I dont even have reshade and i get this stupid thing. idk how i got that dll there and its from 2015 omegalul.
