How the hell does fried chicken have racist connotations?
I'd like someone to explain it to me. This is a serious question, we don't have these kinds of problems in mid-eastern Europe

US believes even UBL was real. So much that lot of young people celebrated when it was "fictionally" murdered.

it's always nice when representatives of the Wingnut-O-Sphere self-identify so nobody has to waste time reading and/or considering their comments in future.

Yes.... because no other country has problems with racisim. Seriously? Although, yes, in pretty much all the countries it is just whiny babies.

it simply depends on how you sya it and why you say it and the intention behind it.

fried chicken is not racist, but when you address a certain race and lets say suggest they go and eat fried chicken, then you are intentionally being a racist and therefore its a racist thing to say.

its really simple people, don't be ignorant ♥♥♥♥♥ and no one has a problem

This is my issue with that. So, now, I cannot suggest fried chicken to my black friends, even though we all enjoy, because some moron out there would think we were being racist.

There comes a point when it is actually the people screaming about racisim who are the racist ones.

No you missed the poihnt entirely,

its about how and why you say it.

if you have friends and suggest going for some fried chicken then of course its not racist. if you say .. well be better have fried chicken for this lot to eat. then it is

No, I didn't. My point is, it won't matter to some moron who overhears it and instantly assumes I was being racist. That happens a lot, something wasn't racist to the two involved, but a bystander assumes it is and raises crap about it.

As an example, my sister, one of her white friends and a black friend had a hug they called a "Reverse Oreo", the black girl in the middle. They all 3 were great friends and it wasn't racist, but several times bystanders made remarks about it.

well I read that darn wikipedia thing and all I have to say about it is that it is crap with this pubg thing. Fried chicken is a food, many people enjoy it. It's a staple for this game. Nothing racist is intended. however players choose to use it is their responsibility, doubtless some people used it offensively but I can guarantee the mojority of people did not. the bucket of fried chicken image itself is just a picture of food. heck a picture of a taco should be more insulting to a person with Mexican culture than a bucket of chicken to an African American. todays society will take any tiny thing and make it offensive, racist, sexist, stereotypical, whatever they want and yes it is offensive and wrong but if we didn't give it nearly this much attention it wouldn't have become so large of an "apparent" problem.

Sounds like an ignorant problem.

As it is hard to find a first hand account of "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner". The likely origin was from the Las Vegas strip back in the 50s-70s. A chicken dinner was just under 2 dollars. The average bet made was 2 dollars. So winning a bet, you had enough for a chicken dinner, hence winner winner chicken dinner. :Miller:
