Game not responding immediately after launch
So I haven't played for months and decided to fire up PUBG again, then I noticed after a ton of updates, PUBG won't launch anymore. It just freezes on a black screen and task manager saying it's not responding anymore. I've attempted a bunch of fixes listed below, but so far none has worked yet. I'm pretty stumped at this point :L

Here's my current specs:
AMD A6 6420K 4.2 GHz (Plain 'ol 2 Cores, no HT or anything)
12 GB of DDR3 RAM running at 1600 MHz
Asus GTX 750 1GB OC (This is not the Ti version)
Kingston UV400 240GB SSD
WD Blue 1TB

Fixes I've attempted:
- updating nvidia GPU drivers
- reinstalling vcredist packages
- optimizing the game with GeForce Experience
- uninstalling GeForce Experience and going with custom settings I found in a guide
- modifying the GameUserSettings.ini to launch the game in windowed mode
- Verifying integrity of game files
- Reinstalling the game. TWICE.
- deleting the intro video with the trademarks and stuff, since I thought 4K videos don't play properly on my PC for some reason.
- uninstalling discord
- running CCleaner and Checking on any possible malware
-Installing an SSD and doing a fresh install of Windows 10, Steam, and PUBG

Sounds like a software conflict.
Have U used reshade back then ? If so, delete it. Programms like this or overwolf cause this issue.
Usually u get an error message but maybe it’s different for you.
Try to uninstall reshade, overwolf and even discord is known as an issue for be sometimes

I've never used reshade or any third party programs that directly affect PUBG. I do have discord, though. I'll try uninstalling it now.

Oh and btw, I don't get any error message of some sorts. Just a plain 'ol black screen.
Update: I've uninstalled Discord and restarted, but it didn't seem to work. Thanks for the suggestion though. I'll try looking for other programs that might be conflicting with PUBG
Tried uninstalling a bunch of other software like MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner. Still not working :/

Check anti virus. Add game folder to the exception list.

Disable programs on startup.
Disable any overlays, especially ones from third party programs like Discord n Shadowplay.
Disable or uninstall Overwolf.

Already did those. And I've never used any overlay software except Rivatuner and Afterburner, and I've already gotten rid of those. It still won't launch :/

As far as I know it’s caused by a software conflict. But I think every case of a conflict had a error message as far as I remember..
Well let’s start from the bottom.
What system are u using?
How many actual and virtual cores u got and did u change anything in the ms.config about the cores activated?
Also have u changed anything in the configuration of pubg itself?
Any graphic card optimization tools installed?
Run cc cleaner and maleware bytes or any other Typ of antivirus and report again so we can move on to the next possible cause

- The parts are really mediocre, but I've never had any problems running PUBG ever since the 1.0 Update. Here you go:
AMD A6 6420K 4.2 GHz (Plain 'ol 2 Cores, no HT or anything)
12 GB of DDR3 RAM running at 1600 MHz
ASUS GTX 750 1GB OC (This is not the Ti version)
WD Blue 1TB

- Like I said, it's flat out 2 cores. No Virtual Cores. Never messed with ms.config.

- only thing I've changed with PUBG's config is GameUserSettings.ini located in the game's appdata folder. I did this while trying to find a fix, I've already reverted this to the original file. I've also cleared my launch options.

- No optimization tools. I installed HiAlgo Boost a long time ago, but I've already uninstalled it way back.

- I have malwarebytes and it's not picking up anything. Will try CCleaner in a bit.

I start it via Steam. I've tried starting it with the other 2 ways you said while trying for a fix.
I'm really suspecting it is a software conflict being caused by their new anti-cheat system though. It is a known issue currently.

btw really appreciate your efforts, Luvit1337

Hmh..Is the test server running at all or haven’t tried yet ?
Another thing I can think of would be delteting one of ur game files in the cfg and verify game files through steam again. It will cause an error and redownload the missing files. Just a small 500kb file is enough. Worth a try imo...
Also put : malloc=system in The Start options of pubg and try to start through steam again
It honestly sounds like either ur missing a game file nor the pubg engine gets a conflict with ur system or something like that.

Software conflicts will result in an error message which u don’t get so idk..

Stupid question..Since ur running a NVIDIA, you should have an alternative onboard intel graphic right?
