Why is the m16a4 so awful?

Before you say get good, I have been on the receiving end and shooting end of this gun, and with no armor 2 bursts at short range don't kill? They nerfed thsi gun hard especially since you can't even give it an 8x. Almost mot worth picking it up anymore honestly.

i rather prefer m16 instead of ♥♥♥♥ like sks or mini, actually a 4x and a silencer on the m16 is OP

I dont even pick it up anymore. TTK with an UMP is way shorter in CQB, One shot headshots with SRs is better for med/long range, and the DMRs do more damage which force people into cover + you can throw an 8x on them. I hate that they nerfed the m16. Now the meta revolves around the m4 and scar on full auto and the drop rates on those seems severly reduced. This game used to be about fighting at med/long range. Now its about looting and spraying at close range. Boring. As. ♥♥♥♥.

In the emote update there was hidden buffs for all ARs recoil except the M4. Im pretty sure WTFmoses might have done a video on it.

Yea long range AKM is not my thing either so if its for long range only I would take the m16a4. I would take the scar and the m416 as my top weapons personally.

Thats true and the m16A4 does have the highest AR drops I am pretty sure which sucks.

AKM can be pretty leathal at distance. Probably not so far it requires an 8x but definitely good with 4x if you know how to use it. But of course it takes practice...

I will take the SKS over the AKM though, I love the SKS which is good as I notice people seem to avoid it for some reason so even if a place has been looted it isn't uncommon to find an SKS left behind (though the SKS doesn't seem to be that common)

Really? I feel like its an amazing weapon, I tend to pick it up whenever I see it since its a great sniper. I prefer it over the mini14 for sure.

Totally agree but others seem to avoid it. I used to like the mini 14 but I will swap it for an SKS every time

Yea same since the mini14 was nerfed really hard, that its hard for me to cinsider it a viable option as much.

m16 can shoot faster then any other ar. less recoil too. i never use burst on it personaly, it will shoot just as fast as you pull the trigger

Profesional esports players tend to actually prefer the m416 or the akm, but some prefer the a4 or other types of AR weapons I have seen. The M16A4 is not ruling the pubg meta or even close if you think that. It does not have the lowest recoil with burst and it actually suffers heavily without attachments.
