Besides why does it matter if the prices drop, if anything thats good. If you want the look now its more affordable.

Fortnite gained popularity but PUBG is still 2+ million players as well. If it was dying then we'd already be at 500k at PUBG peak times.

The game used to have like over 3+million players at peak time.I see the number of players dropping bit by bit every day

Most games have a peak\high numbers playing a few months after release, then it slowly drops.
When the new map arrives, we'll se a rise again i think.
