Lag in every 1vs1 gun fight

Guys, how can I fix that dam lag that is produced ONLY when you find an opponent. The game mode doesn't matter, it always happens to me so I lost almost every time :(
I5 8400 2.8GHZ Hexa Core
16 GB RAM DDR4
GTX960 2GB
Mobo Asus Prime z370P
PSU Focus Gold +80 750W

I can run BF4 in a very high frame rate with no stutter or lag. I can run this game between 120 fps or 140 fps but the frame drop is a pain in the **** the optimization should be used as an example for all coding students to learn HOW NOT TO DEVELOP A GAME that will bring such a lame experience to almost every user. Seriously, teachers from the coding world, use this game as an example in class for your students to learn from other's mistakes.

I have the same issue. The problem seems to be due to network locking the client whenever it detects a problem. Anyways, they still have a long way to go in order to fix network issues.

1600x and 1080 here got good internet low latency yep seems to be happening alot moer as of today wasnt happening yesterday

A 960 2gb card running 120 fps, i dont think so. Youd be running everything low n likely low res. That would look like sh*t.
Also saying you run 120 or 140 but drops does not mean you can run at 120, it means the opposite.

i agree, i have a 1050ti 2gb and get 80fps on comp settings ( after the 24mb the other day was dropping randomly like crazy tho first time )
i think its just useless dev hacky code tbh

I won't even bother in responding to a troll. If I play in medium settings and ultra (for textures and enviroment) I can run this game in FULL HD at 60-80 fps which should be nice if it wasn't for the crappy optimization. If I go down to 720p wich is the best resolution for this type of card i can go up to 110-120 but it drops to 50fps. I'm not the only one suffering from lag-stutter during combats. In fact there are tons of threads in Redit so I'm trying to see if this is the case:

Some effects are not loaded at the beginning so when fight comes, the system tries to loads them in that moment so it lags. Some people said it has to do with sound drivers (which I saw I forgot to update since I installed the new hardware, well I updated to the "latest" but now I see i needed one more update.

Also there is a code that you can put in the launching options and change textures from ultra to high. ----> al this from people with 1080s and very fast machines which are suffering from the same effect: Developers doing their job not that well..

Funny thing is it is not a general problem. I had a 1080gtx too and got 130-144fps on 1440p with texture ultra. On top of this it never reached 100% gpu load. Now with a ti my gpu load is arround 60% avg.

For me pubg got only 1 bad thing. You cant hold 144fps like in other games (drops down till 130fps sometimes) without max gpu load.
Gsync works great for this but i guess not everyone has a gsync monitor

I CAN CONFIRM THAT AT THIS MOMMENT THIS HAS HELPED:
-USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 -d3d10 -malloc=system -lowmemory

Put that at the launching options of the game. I changed effects to medium, textures to High, anti aliasing to Ultra and view distance also to ultra.

I also updated SOUND DRIVERs...at the moment that gave me a smoother 120 fps and more steady fps during gun fights...lag has gone for now...I will keep reporting so we can find a solution for many people suffering from this

You are right...my DDR4 is 16GB at 2400 MHZ my PSU is great all the system keeps super quiet and cool. I know a 960 is not a big deal but is a decent GPU.

But after doing some tweaks, specially the launch options one, the audio drivers and the video settings my game is running great so far. Combat FPS are super nice so at least now I know exactly how to handle situations and die because of my learning curve and not because some lame FPS drops...I hope those tweaks may help many people!

Pubg blocked nvidia freestyle in the last one or two updates.... people were using it to turn the map grey and enemies pink so they stuck out like a sore thumb.

Your sh*t aint loading cause your pos card and your not likely using a ssd.

Also genius, launch codes haven't worked in like 6 months. Pubg stopped them from being used a long time ago. You might want to look that up.

If devs suck so bad why you keep playing then? Yea enough said.
Also my i3770k @4.1 and ddr3 mem with my 1070 work fine. No lag, stutter, no frame drops.
I use 1440p, 120% scaling and mixed settings.
