Doing this bug fix, can you imagine the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that'll follow? Countless threads on the PUBG forums asking if they'll get banned for changing their sensitivity through input.ini, amongst other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ threads. Articles on games news sites all over the place saying "PUBG PLAYERS GET BANNED FOR CHANGING CONFIGURATION SETTINGS."
10/10 passive aggressive smiley though
By that logic you should've been banned a long time ago since you've likely already changed the in game settings...which simply applies the changes to input.ini when you hit the apply button. Heck, since I did it way back in December, I'm still waiting to be banned 5 months later kek
EDIT: This misinformation that you get banned for ini files...which are literally just config settings you can edit anyway through the game, needs to die in a hole already. .ini files haven't been considered 'game files' for any anti cheat purpose in any game in the history of gaming. Bluehole has already clarified that editing game files to gain any kind of unfair advantage is against their TOS. Do you think bug fixes count as unfair advantages?
I feel like a lot of these people have only recently come from console gaming - I still remember when Halo 3 was at its prime, people associated modding with hacking due to console mods like JTAGs and whatnot, whereas PC mods refer to user made mods that can add new things and whatnot.
1000 keks, steam global moderators frequent these forums :), also im sure if screenshotted and sent in to bluehole will also get things like this some attention by thier mods and the devs.

That's literally the 2nd top comment when sorted by best if you go onto that reddit post that I linked in OP. But please remember to screenshot it so they remember to fix this glaring bug.
I love the game but there's so much bs going on as well... pffff
