This guy knows what's up.
Well both destiny and and tital fall had people calling them dead they never gained players like PUBG nor did they lose this many people this fast, never before has a game thats so popular become unpopular this fast..
PUBG grew last year during summer, so clearly summer has nothing to do with gaining/loseing this much players, it may indicate smaller trends that dont matter compared to this.
Any games population dies over time, PUBG was released 6 months a go tho and has already lost half its players since then, this game did better before release than after, a hint at whats really driving people away.
PUBGs player loss hasnt even hit its heights yet, more players were lost in the last 30 days than any of the 4-5 months that it has been loseing players, normally with a player exodus it happens pretty quickly then shows signs of less and less people leaving, in PUBGs case we cans ee that we havent even hit the maximum ammount of elavers per month at 20%.
If PUBG was to stop loseing more and more players each month and stayed at 20% the game will have 0 players in 5 months at that rate, of course we should see less and less palyers elaving soon tho it cant imagine it being left with a healthy player base regardless at this rate.
In my opinion all the statistics and signs point towards players leaving the game for a few reasons, the biggest being the fact that Bumhole has done nothing meaningfull to stop cheaters and people dont want to play a game that so easy to cheat it, easy to cheat = 0 competition.
The second is that instead of doing progressive and meaningfull updates bumhole has decided that drastically redesigning the game (weapon balance patch of recent) and adding more l00t bawxes are the best ways to spend the tiem that they have. ($ > gameplay improvements)
Third is tough competition, fortnite has better anti-cheat, is easier to accsess and runs with less gltiches/silly and annoying gameplay mechanics, and before you say fortnite is for kids, if thats true then pubg is for teens.
All and all the future for PUBG looks dark, its pretty much the H1Z1 of 2018, fortnite is doing to PUBG what PUBG did to H1Z1. Rampant cheaters, $ based l00t bawxes and bad game design/ability has lead to many players uninstalling the game and they wont return.
Something everyone should look at, as it gives you all the information you need to know to make your own mind up about where PUBG is heading -> http://steamcharts.com/app/578080
Thank you two for being civil.
Yeah, I know what the website said. They are suing because of the mere POSSIBILITY that Epic Games will not release extensions to the game engines.
Not that they have done it. But because they MIGHT. They also mention how Fortnite is similae, but that's not why they are suing. BS. You can't honestly believe Bluehole is suing Fortnite because they MIGHT hold back extensions simply to keep them from improving pubg? You can't so people for ♥♥♥♥ they haven't done! It's madness! Sheogorath level madness!
