Bullets in PUBG though, actually originate from the barrel gun, so adding being able to switch hands is a lot more work. I doubt they will ever do it.
... but honestly, I don't get why this is even a thing. You're not holding an actual gun, you're holding a mouse and looking at a crosshair on a screen. Does it really matter where that gun model is?
In fact, in older games such as Quake or old Counter-Strike (pre 1.6), it was common to remove the weapon model entirely. Doesn't really serve any purpose what so ever.
