HyperX Cloud II

So I got my hands on my new headset, which is the HyperX Cloud II. After many hours of watching comparisons and reading other people's take on the HyperX Cloud II. I have read that many PUBG players use this headset and that they could hear from miles away! Fantastic right? Well for me, I still can't hear a good amount of footsteps, should I have 7.1 Surround sound turned on or use the regular Stereo option? Is there any software that I need to setup to enhance the audio quality? And should I connect my headset using the Audio jacks or the USB? If anyone here has a HyperX Cloud II please tell me your experience with it and if you tweaked it.

Edit: Don't know if anyone wants to know, but I had the Logitech G230 before.

sonic radar comes with asus motherboards, havent seen anyone saying they were banned because of it, but then again... pubg doesnt tell anyone why they got banned.

last month someone got banned by using sonic radar.it makes ur gameplay not fair.he/she posted it in this forum that it got detected

Can't see how they can detect it is being used. Its presence wouldn't be enough to ban.

so does gaming hardware, or highend pc hardware, ect... are they going to start banning people for having the best of the best pc hardware because it gives advantage over others aswell?

i play on a 55in 4k screen, it gives me tons of advantage because everything is bigger, my pc itself runs this game easily and other complain about peformance and stuttering etc... so again can i be banned for having better hardware?

ok so i run programs that keep my pc optimized better than most peoples pc's, i run latest drivers on all of my hardware (when i say all i mean every single thing, which most ignore or dont even know about), i could name off a list of software that makes my pc out perform most, i also have g-skill gaming keyboard and mouse which have built in macros and my motherboard also has "sonic radar" and my ethernet has "game first" software built in to optimize my data so my games always get priority over anything else when im playing games.

what im saying is, pubg cant ban for every single thing they can think of, especially not stuff built into gaming hardware, if that was the case then more than half the playerbase would have been banned by now.

All you people complaining about speakers not being enough, my 5.1 surround sound lets me hear people ~50 metres away walking and cars up to 500 metres away. Gunshots are pinpoint accurate up to 2 kilometres away...

hardware wont get you banned

apps that affect gameplays and it shows peoples location/no recoil/aimbot is bannable not hardware but using sonic radar is bannable if you got detected

I have the cloud II Aswell, Is 7.1 When I press the button on my mic's control pannel? I usually keep it turned off because the sounds are distracting and are really annoying and give me a headache at times.

7.1 don't work on pubg.it is not supported yet

I used a pair of these before my sennheiser headset, I suggest that headset to someone not wanting to spend a lot of money. It's a great headset blocks all outside noise, my only problem with this headset was the mic started to crackle but that was after two years of use.

stereo is better (games are not made for 7.1), audio jacks are better.
install also a mixer and change frequencies to get a better audio

Stereo is not better, and this game DOES support surround sound phobos, please learn something before posting.
