Reporting player caused game to crash
From my perspective it looked like a player had wall hacks. When he entered the house all walls disappeared. This could have been game issues, but it looked suspicious. When I tried to report it, my game crashed. Hopefully this is a game problem and not a hack that causes a reporting player's game to crash so it can't be reported. Anyone else get a crash while reporting?

It was on your game client that the walls disappeared. So that would mean that you were cheating. ;)
Nah, it's probably just another death cam bug you got.
And the game crashing when you hit report is also just a game issue. No cheater would be able to make your game crash when you report him/her.

You do realize they just arrested a bunch of hackers that were controlling other player's games. I am a programmer, and I can tell you it would be very possible to cause the game to crash when submitting a report. I'm not saying it wasn't just a crash (lord knows this game has those issues).
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Coming from someone that thinks that he would be able to see another players "wallhack" on his end.

I have no idea what the you see when spectating another player that is hacking. I would assume it would only be on the hacker's side, but you know what assume means. Not knowing hacks means nothing about not knowing coding.

Where have you read that they controlled other players games?
They arrested 15 people that developed and sold cheats, and those cheats had trojans etc that stole information of the players using the cheats.

Not going for the whole trolling to make you feel good thing here. Just reporting something I saw that was suspicious.

Looks like you're correct Jeppe. I just went back and re-read that article.

They were probably using the hacked computers to do DDOS attacks. This is the part that I didn't read carefully enough,

"Some hack programs that are being distributed through the internet includes a Huigezi Trojan horse*(Chinese backdoor) virus. It was proven that hack developers used this virus to control users’ PC, scan their data, and extract information illegally.”

Thanks Neil. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's run into this.

It was just a normal crash that may be associated with the report system. There is no way they could make a cheat that would cause your game to crash if you reported them.

never bugged out to me while reporting, but i didn't do it recently.

But, could be, sometimes, I guess it happens when you loading replay and things are still loading, and U can see someone that is at a house, but looks like he is at open... don't know, just saying... the replay is bugged... that's all...
